Chapter 215 Stained Lips and Teeth

"Hahaha, the commotion we caused yesterday has spread all over the Spirit Network."

The next day, Baili Xijiang was browsing the Spirit Network when he burst into laughter in the guest courtyard of Tianji Sect.

As Song Siyao, wielding her sword, approached, Wan Qiji also sheathed his blade, and Song Tingwan and Shen Zhuochuan came side by side.

Even today, Qin Xi's smile hasn't faded.

"Did they take a picture? I was so excited yesterday that I forgot about it. I have to go to the spirit network to recreate yesterday's scene."

The others were also curious about this question.

"Of course, they even recorded Qin Yuanyuan's reaction, hahaha."

Everyone crowded together to look at the photo taken by Baili Xijiang.

Shen Zhuochuan, standing beside Song Tingwan, found it somewhat amusing.

The man suppressed a laugh and took a new photo stone.

This scene was recorded.

Baili Xijiang sat on the stone table, holding a photo stone in his hand and playing the image. Qin Xi and Wan Qiji were beside him, one clinging to Baili Xijiang's arm, and the other just leaning to the side to look at him.

Further out, Song Tingwan leaned slightly over Qin Yuanyuan's side, looking at her with a gentle smile.

Song Siyao stood beside Wan Qiji, still with his sword in hand, his aloof demeanor barely perceptible, the curve of his lips barely visible.

But they had gotten to know Song Siyao well, and they could tell she was in a good mood.

The five people gathered in a corner of the courtyard, and the sound of running footsteps could be heard. All five of them, along with Shen Zhuochuan who was recording, looked over.

Xiao Ao ran towards them, "What are you looking at? Xiao Ao wants to see too!"

The adorable, snow-white little tiger rushed towards them and leaped onto the stone table in front of Baili Xijiang.

Baili Xijiang subconsciously reached out and stroked the tiger's head, then looked around and casually said, "Where's my uncle?"

Why can't I see it...?

Before they could finish their sentence, the five of them spotted Shen Zhuochuan holding the recording stone in his hand.

"Oh, Uncle, you secretly recorded us."

Baili Xijiang casually shoved the photo-recording stone in his hand into Qin Xi's hands, then ran toward Shen Zhuochuan and snatched the photo-recording stone from his hand.

"Uncle, look at me!"

Shen Zhuochuan stood with his hands behind his back. Upon hearing this, he lowered his eyes and chuckled, but also smiled gently at him in return.

That concludes our photo session.

Only the lively, chattering sounds remained in the picture.

Shen Zhuochuan handed it to Song Tingwan.

She was taken aback for a moment, then carefully put it away.

The woman looked up, moved, and saw the bright sunlight meeting the man's tender gaze.

"Thanks."

Shen Zhuochuan stood beside her, watching everyone laughing and joking, and said with a smile, "I hope that when we bring this up again in the future, it will be a group of us sitting together, teasing each other and reminiscing about the past."

Instead of…

Other scenes that evoke sadness.

The two exchanged glances, their expressions silently conveying a sense of melancholy.

Yes, it will.

She said softly.

Everyone knows that finding the last fragment will be the time for ascension and the cataclysmic destruction of the world.

What everyone else knew, Song Tingwan and her friends knew even better.

My last night at Tianjimen.

They went hunting and on a picnic.

Regardless of their thoughts, they were all smiling.

Cherish these last moments.

"Sect Leader Yuanyuan, please arrange what everyone should do."

Squatting down, Baili Xijiang helped his uncle start a fire, then looked up at Qin Xi and teased him.

Qin Xi glared at him.

"Then... Wan'er and Venerable Yun Chuan will stay here and guard our territory. Sister A Yao and A Ji, please go and hunt some spirit creatures to roast. Bai Li Xi Jiang and I will go catch fish?"

Everyone agreed.

They each did as she said.

Song Tingwan laid out a layer of shimmering silk on the open ground outside the campfire.

A row of low tables was set up, on which were placed various spiritual fruits and pastries, as well as some spiritual drinks.

Shen Zhuochuan squatted down beside her and added some things; the two of them arranged the items in tacit agreement.

"Have you not mentioned your trip to the Demon Realm to Qin Xi yet?"

Shen Zhuochuan recalled Qin Xi's complex and reluctant gaze when the others left, and asked Song Tingwan.

Song Tingwan simply sat down at the low table, rested her hands on it, and looked at him with a worried expression: "Your nephew said he would give it to him, but I didn't expect him to not say anything today."

She had a bit of a headache. Baili Xijiang was such an unreliable guy; if it weren't for what he said…

Song Tingwan would never allow him to act so recklessly.

"How did he manage to convince you, given his unreliable nature?"

Shen Zhuochuan sat down beside her, and the two sat on the ground, looking at the pitched tents and the crackling of the fire, feeling as if something was still missing.

Song Tingwan watched for a while, then sent out a burst of spiritual energy from her hand.

"You'll know about him when they get back."

Song Tingwan paused, then, remembering her little apprentice's blushing face, smiled mysteriously at him.

The spiritual energy that had flown away returned.

I brought back a large bunch of flowers.

It landed on the low table in front of the two of them.

Shen Zhuochuan smiled as he looked at the abundance of flowers, then rummaged through the foliage for a while before finding many exquisite glass bottles.

The two of them started arranging the flowers.

“Even if you didn’t say it, I could have guessed some of it. I never expected that Xiao Hei would be so clever.”

A rare look of surprise flashed across his face.

Song Tingwan smiled, cut the flowers to the appropriate length with scissors, and then placed them in the vase.

"What kind of image does my apprentice have in your heart?"

Shen Zhuochuan toyed with a pink flower in his hand, his thoughts seemingly drifting back to the past.

"It's like a child who never grows up but has a warm heart."

He and his sister grew up relying on each other. Their parents died young because they were possessed by demons. His sister would often coax him and then fall asleep herself.
