Chapter 88 Sleeping Together

The Spirit Stone Flower has gone out.

The shadow of the Flying Fairy Flower was seen.

But it was a flower that could never bloom.

The remaining items in the auction were of little interest to anyone else.

They simply watched the woman sitting alone to one side, her eyes vacant.

The expressions on everyone's faces were varied.

Song Tingwan was in a state of utter confusion.

I felt numb, with a sense of "I knew it."

How could things have gone so smoothly?

In the first two outcomes, she never recovered her health.

This time was no exception.

The high expectations suddenly plummet into the mire, making one want to give up the struggle, just like sinking into the mud.

Didn't we accept this fact years ago?

However, now that her sister and friends are by her side, helping her search for clues, she has developed a wonderful expectation again.

But when the day actually came, I found it hard to accept.

The woman gave a self-deprecating laugh.

"Sister, one day, I will ascend to heaven."

Song Siyao took the teapot and walked to her side, pouring her older sister a cup of hot tea.

She personally took her older sister's hand and placed the cup of hot tea in her palm.

Warmth to soothe the deep pain and regret in my heart.

Song Tingwan gently lifted her eyes, holding the hot tea in her hand, and looked up at her sister who had a worried expression on her face.

She was delicate and gentle, and she preferred to keep her vulnerability to herself.

Everyone in the private room knew that if they surrounded her and offered words of concern, it would only make her more heartbroken.

Song Tingwan stared at her blankly for a long time before finally smiling slightly, "Okay."

There are too many noises around.

The auction continued, but everyone's eyes were secretly fixed on her.

Song Siyao moved a stool and sat down next to her older sister, holding her cold hand tightly the whole time.

Until, until her hands were warmed up as well.

Shen Zhuochuan got up and left for a while. When he returned, the tea in the servant's hand had been replaced with spirit wine.

Song Tingwan had half come to her senses, and with a slightly surprised look, she glanced to the side, smelling the strong aroma of alcohol.

Shen Zhuochuan and the three heads behind him all turned to look at him.

"Want a drink?"

The man raised his glass to her.

Song Siyao, standing next to Song Tingwan, secretly glared at him, bypassing her older sister.

Shen Zhuochuan chuckled, his smile undiminished.

What she feared most was the pitying and sad looks she received from everyone.

Meeting his gentle gaze, Song Tingwan raised her glass and toasted him.

"Jing, when you have some free time, you must take us to visit the summit of Cloud Palace."

"good."

The man readily agreed, and the two clinked glasses briefly. Song Tingwan took a sip and realized that it was actually strong liquor.

She looked up at Shen Zhuochuan, who raised an eyebrow and asked casually, "Are you feeling any better?"

Song Tingwan smiled, then frowned and took a sip of strong liquor. "I'm fine."

As her expression calmed down, she thought of Wu Ling again and sighed.

"Let's tell Wu Ling about his father when he gets back."

He should know.

The others nodded quietly.

"How about we go back?" Qin Xi asked cautiously.

Nobody's interested in auctions anymore.

Baili Xijiang nodded vigorously beside him, "Yes, yes, this auction is really not that interesting."

Wanqi Ji stood up with his giant sword on his back, as if waiting for them to leave.

Each of them, though unspoken, showed their deep concern.

Song Tingwan turned around with a gentle smile.

"Since we're already here, aren't we going to look at all the treasures?"

"What's so strange about that?" Baili Xijiang said dismissively, arms crossed.

After a moment of amusement, the group finally left.

They returned to Shen Zhuochuan's mansion from the opulent auction house.

Along the way, Baili Xijiang and Qin Xi deliberately bickered, but Song Tingwan never looked at them with a low smile again.

Song Siyao quietly took her older sister's hand and got off the light.

"Sister, are you going back to your room to rest? Or should I stay with you tonight?"

It would be normal for Qin Xi to say this, but it would be quite rare for her Ah Yao to say it.

"How can I keep you company? Will you stay with me while I rest?"

Song Tingwan chuckled, a genuine smile finally appearing in her numb and calm eyes.

Song Siyao murmured, "I'll stay with you, sister."

"good."

She gently pinched her sister's cheek and accepted the kindness.

"Tomorrow, there will be a wine tasting event at the top of the Cloud Palace. Each tavern will set up a table with its best wine, and everyone can vote for their favorite tavern. The tavern that wins the vote will be the winner."

Shen Zhuochuan stood with his hands behind his back in the courtyard, not taking another step.

"How about I show you all around tomorrow?"

Song Siyao and the others remained silent, only looking at Song Tingwan with worried eyes.

She understood that this was Shen Zhuochuan's response to what she had said at the auction house, asking him to show them around the Cloud Peak.

It was also to prevent her from dwelling on her pain.

Song Tingwan turned around, looked at him with a faint smile, and said, "Alright, don't break your promise, Venerable Yun Chuan."

Was she making fun of his name?

Chen Zhuochuan nodded, standing in the courtyard watching their figures disappear.

Magnolia blossoms fall, but no one cares.

Qin Xi stood there for a moment, then looked at Wan'er's retreating figure as she entered the room, and secretly slipped away with a smirk.

Wan Qiji and Shen Zhuochuan clasped their hands in a fist salute, then turned and went back to their room.

Only his silly nephew chuckled beside him, "Uncle, do you want Master to be my aunt?"

Shen Zhuochuan sighed helplessly and gave him a disdainful look.

"She's upset right now, don't bring up these trivial things."

Mentioning it, Baili Xijiang's face fell, and the discomfort he had been holding back all along instantly showed on his face.

He sniffed, tugged at his uncle's sleeve, and his eyes were red.
