The day of the auction finally arrived amidst much anticipation.
Night falls.
Shen Zhuochuan and Song Tingwan's group entered the Qiankun Wanbao Pavilion.
There are countless auction houses in the world, but only here can one truly demonstrate power and wealth.
The scene was magnificent and adorned with gems and runes. At the entrance, a puppet servant politely accepted a stack of invitations from Shen Zhuochuan, scanned them, and then respectfully invited the group inside.
"Are these really puppets? I even feel that their cultivation is above mine." Baili Xijiang turned around and looked at the two servants at the door, scratching his head in confusion.
Shen Zhuochuan turned around and sighed, then pulled the silly child in the house to his side.
"These are two Mahayana stage puppets, made by the world's strongest puppeteer."
It is also the signboard used by Qiankun Wanbaoge to showcase its wealth and connections.
"Besides auctions, Qiankun Wanbaoge can find anything in the world for you as long as you are willing to spend a lot of money."
After a pause, the man looked at Qin Xi, who was secretly observing her surroundings, and said, "Among them, there is also cooperation with the Tianji Sect."
Tianji Sect is probably the wealthiest of the four major sects.
Qin Xi exclaimed in surprise, "There are too many forces cooperating with sects, I didn't remember many."
She was well-informed, and her sect was quite powerful. The forces she cooperated with, large and small, could fill a room. However, she didn't like to manage sect affairs, so she naturally didn't like to remember them.
Shen Zhuochuan nodded to Song Tingwan beside him.
Her friends are all very individualistic.
Song Tingwan smiled at him, then turned and took Qin Xi's hand. "Let's go."
She was very protective of him.
Shen Zhuochuan chuckled and quickly followed.
Song Siyao walked behind, carrying her sword. Wan Qiji looked at her strangely several times. "You seem to really dislike him."
Two people dressed in black and red robes walked at the very back, one carrying a sword and the other carrying a knife on his back.
"I don't know, I don't like it."
The girl finished speaking in a muffled voice, glared at him, and quickly followed.
Wan Qiji frowned, unable to understand.
I don't know, but I don't like it?
A moment later, the group entered one of the three elegant rooms at the very top of the Qiankun Wanbao Pavilion.
"The fruits and snacks were all from Zhenxiufang."
After Qin Xi sat down, he picked up a pastry and exclaimed in admiration, "It truly is the Qiankun Wanbao Pavilion, so extravagant!"
"So, is this thing expensive?" Baili Xijiang picked up a small pastry, but couldn't see anything special about it.
"A box of pastries, fifty high-grade spirit stones," Qin Xi said casually.
Baili Xijiang nearly crushed the pastry in his hand, and Wanqiji silently withdrew his hand.
"So expensive! Even my master's Yueji Pavilion, which uses spiritual plants, doesn't sell for this much. All I see inside are ordinary things."
Song Siyao pushed the plate in front of her older sister and Wan Qiji, "Eat."
Qin Xi took a bite and tasted it; it was indeed just average, not as good as what the aunties and uncles in Yunyin made.
"But some people don't need it to taste good. It may be expensive, but they can afford it to entertain guests, and that is its value."
Shen Zhuochuan sat beside Song Tingwan, listening to his silly nephew and Qin Xi's conversation, and silently rubbed his forehead.
"Luckily, you guys were there to take care of him."
Otherwise, you might get sold out without even knowing it.
Song Tingwan chuckled, "Then you should thank Qin Yuanyuan. Although the two of them always argue, she teaches while she argues, which has made your nephew improve a little bit."
Upon hearing this, Shen Zhuochuan looked thoughtfully at the two noisy people.
After a while, the two of them sat by the window drinking tea and chatting, while the rest of the guys ran to the window and leaned over, pointing and whispering.
Shen Zhuochuan then explained slowly, "Young dragons are easily broken. According to the rules of the dragon race, they can only travel when they reach adulthood. He just came out three to five years early. It is his good fortune to meet you."
The man's voice was calm. The two looked down at the seats downstairs, which were gradually filling up. Song Tingwan chuckled softly.
"Meeting him is my good fortune." She smiled and took out the black scales she kept close to her body to show him.
The man's gaze froze.
He frowned as he looked at his silly, grinning nephew.
Seeing his surprise, Song Tingwan asked him in astonishment, "You didn't know?"
Shen Zhuochuan shook his head, and she then told him about the time she sent the dragon scales.
After saying that, he carefully put the dragon scales away again.
The way he cherished it made Shen Zhuochuan both concerned and gratified.
"He has grown quite a bit."
Somewhat moved, this loud and boisterous little nephew who was always buried in studying elixirs actually cared about someone, and would even pluck dragon scales for her.
"So, thank you for giving me such a good apprentice."
Song Tingwan looked at the man with a gentle expression.
"It's starting! It's starting!" Qin Xi shouted, and everyone's eyes fell on the auction stage.
On the grand and imposing stage, the auctioneer was the first to step forward and bow in all directions.
"Welcome to Qiankun Wanbaoge! Without further ado, let's take a look at our first item—"
Song Tingwan paused for a moment, then chuckled and asked the person beside her, "So concise?"
They shouldn't introduce their auction house first, then themselves; some even go so far as to explain the rules and describe the mysterious items up for auction, creating a lot of anticipation.
Shen Zhuochuan shook his head gently, "Everyone's cultivation time is very precious. Qiankun Wanbaoge never cheats, and every item lives up to expectations."
So there's no need to bother with those superficial things.
She nodded, and everyone watched as the auctioneer unveiled the red silk.
"This is an ancient Qiankun Spring Returning Eighth Grade Pill. It is well preserved, and the medicinal fragrance has been slightly reduced. The starting bid is 100,000 top-grade spirit stones."
