Xie Lin wanted to break free, but found that he couldn't get away no matter what.

The smile on Shen Xingwan's lips deepened a little: "Of course not."
The onlookers were all worried for Xie Lin. Although Xie Lin was only 30 years old, he had been an S-level hunter for 15 years. Many people had worked with him and he was considered a senior in the base.

Shen Xingwan's voice was slow and leisurely, but Xie Lin suddenly jumped up in anger.
"Cleaning the toilet? Shen Xingwan, are you crazy? I'm an S-rank hunter, not a cleaner. Why do you want me to clean the toilet?"
Still looking down on cleaners? Shen Xingwan hated occupational discrimination the most!
So he chuckled and said, "Just because I'm the leader of this mission, let me ask you, what is the first rule of the Hunter's Code?"
Xie Lin choked, snorted coldly and didn't respond.
Shen Xingwan glanced at a random onlooker and said, "You go ahead."
The man was intimidated by Shen Xingwan's aura and subconsciously obeyed and spoke.
"Rule 1 of the Hunter Code: When on a mission outside, you must absolutely obey the leader's orders."
"Article 2 of the Hunter's Code: What should be done if one violates the leader's orders while on a mission outside?" Shen Xingwan asked again.
"You will be stripped of your hunter status on the spot, have your hunting license revoked, and be removed from the base."
Shen Xingwan nodded with satisfaction: "Well said."
The hunter blushed suddenly when he was praised. He glanced at Xie Lin and quickly hid behind him.
At this moment, Xie Lin's face was darker than the bottom of a pot. His lips were tightly closed, as if he was trying hard to control his emotions.
Reason told him that Shen Xingwan was not as easy to deal with as he imagined, and the best solution at this moment was to give in.
But his emotions were clamoring. So many people were watching him. If he bowed his head today and word got out, how would he have the face to stay in the base in the future?
Just as he was struggling with his conscience, a voice came from behind him.
"My lunch box is untouched, you can take it."
Shen Xingwan turned around and saw Ford walking towards her, looking like a typical good guy.
He handed the lunch box to Shen Xingwan: "Just give me some face and let's just forget about what happened today, okay?"
Shen Xingwan was so angry that she laughed. She didn't want to help others but didn't say a word about their faults. She just wanted to let it go.
Shen Xingwan narrowed her eyes and smiled: "Face? If you don't have it yourself, what can I give you?"
As soon as he finished speaking, someone among the crowd uttered a low sneer.
Ford's face turned pale and blue in an instant, and his hands were raised in the air awkwardly, neither raising nor lowering them.
Shen Xingwan was too lazy to talk any more, and she increased the strength in her hands, causing Xie Lin to scream in pain.
"You only have two choices now. One is to eat the lunch box in your hand and clean the toilet before dinner. The other is to put down the lunch box in your hand and get back to where you belong."
Xie Lin gritted his teeth and looked at Ford for help, but Ford avoided his gaze.
More and more people gathered around, and Xie Lin was already regretting picking on Shen Xingwan at this moment. He should have chosen a good time and done it more covertly.
"It's just a box of lunch, keep it for yourself."
The moment he had to give in and put the lunch box back in his hand, Shen Xingwan also let go of his hand.
Shen Xingwan's movements were clean and efficient. She picked up the lunch box, dusted off the non-existent dust on it, and strode towards the leader's cabin.

When he looked away, he saw that everyone was still gathered around him.
Xie Lin was even more furious. He clenched his fists, his knuckles turning white from exerting too much force, and made a crackling sound. "What are you looking at? Do you have nothing to do? Get lost!"
Upon seeing this, everyone immediately scattered, but the look they gave Xie Lin was different from before.
After this incident, the second team didn't have any more trouble in the next few days.
Shen Xingwan could hear Xie Lin's inner thoughts and knew that he was not convinced.
But what she needs is not a completely obedient subordinate, as long as the task is completed.
