"What!" Shen Xingwan's face turned pale.
My heart seemed to be blocked by something, and even my breathing became difficult.
This look fell into Shen Ruoxi's eyes. What else did Shen Ruoxi not understand? Even if she was the way of heaven, she could not control the fate of her children.
Shen Ruoxi sighed and wiped the tears from her daughter's eyes: "If you have anything you want to ask, go ask him in person. Don't leave yourself with regrets."

"You finally come out to see me!" A glimmer of hope ignited in Shen Xingwan's heart.
Just as she was about to step forward, she saw the young man looking up at her. The indifference in his eyes forced Shen Xingwan to stop where she was.
"I thought I had made my meaning clear, but you still didn't understand. I don't want to see you again, so don't show up in front of me again."
The boy's tone was cold, and his eyes were even more cold and ruthless than when they first met.
"Let me stay here with you until you recover, okay?" Shen Xingwan's voice was choked with sobs.
The young man sneered: "Don't be so self-righteous. I don't want to see you at all. I opened the door to see you just to make things clear with you. Don't be an eyesore here."
After saying that, the boy didn't give Shen Xingwan a chance to speak and slammed the door shut.
Shen Xingwan looked at the door that closed again, and her heart completely fell to the bottom.
Bai Yuchu was right. She was indeed too self-righteous. How could a person who deceived others with lies have the right to ask for forgiveness from others?
She should have accepted it with pleasure, but why did her heart hurt so much?
Shen Xingwan didn't know how she left. When she reached the main entrance of the manor, she suddenly heard a familiar voice behind her.
“Miss Shen, please wait a moment.”
Shen Xingwan was startled, and when she turned around, she saw that the person coming was Helen.
Helen panted and stuffed something into Shen Xingwan's hand: "Miss Shen, take this."
Shen Xingwan felt a chill in her palm and when she looked down, she found that it was the dagger that she had "borrowed" from Bai Yuchu.
"Isn't this his thing?" Shen Xingwan looked at Helen in confusion.
Helen touched her nose and said, "The young master asked me to throw away this dagger, but no matter how I think about it, I feel something is wrong. Miss Shen, why don't you keep it for the young master?"
"Thrown away? Why would he throw it away? Isn't this the knife passed down from the White family's ancestors?" Shen Xingwan asked curiously.
Helen hemmed and hawed.
Shen Xingwan suddenly understood something: "Because I touched this knife, he doesn't want it anymore, right?"
Helen bit her lips tightly, as if she couldn't bear Shen Xingwan's gaze anymore, and finally nodded in acknowledgment.
Shen Xingwan chuckled inwardly and looked at the dagger in his hand: "Sure enough, he hates me."
After saying that, he left without looking back.
Looking at Shen Xingwan's back, Helen sighed deeply.
