Chapter 92

Chapter 92

On a new day, Secretary Liu called him over in a low voice.

"Sister, what's wrong?"

It was strange and mysterious. Lu Qin lowered his voice.

"Your brother got two new rare gadgets at the repair shop and couldn't fix them after a while. I already have one at home, so I wanted to ask if you wanted one."

Calculating the time carefully, Lu Qin thought that it had been almost half a year. He had almost forgotten that his uncle worked in a repair shop. Why wouldn't he want it?

His eyes lit up, and he thought he could take it home to listen to the radio. "Then sister, ask big brother to keep the things for me."

Secretary Liu agreed and winked at him, "Don't worry, I'll keep it for you, but I can't guarantee that I can fix it."

"It's okay, I'll fix it when the time comes." Today's radio configurations are very simple, and if there's a problem, you can figure it out by using the elimination process.

The two of them whispered for a long time. Lu Qin returned to his seat in a very good mood and whistled softly.

When he got off work, he finally saw two pieces of metal. There were several lines on the outer layer, and they would not light up no matter how hard he pressed them.

Before he could find out what was wrong, he had to confirm, "Sister, you really don't want this anymore. How much did he buy it for?"

"I found it, otherwise it wouldn't be so broken. Take it. If you can fix it, it's yours."

She hadn't thanked him yet for fixing the problem.

The two gay men in the family also had no objection.

Lu Qin walked away swaggeringly, carrying the two iron lumps wrapped in cloth. Because he stayed at Secretary Liu's house for a while, the sky became darker.

Laiyang County is located in the south, and the rice is harvested twice a year. The rice harvest time varies from year to year. For example, this year it was advanced to the end of August.

The unique heat of summer lingered in the Dongyang Brigade, and educated youth who were less than 20 years old or just in their early twenties came towards them.

A new wave of educated youth arrived this year. Sometimes you can tell the difference between the new and the old by looking at their mental outlook.

Lu Qin happened to run into them head-on.

Two out of ten educated youth settled down locally.

The young man coming towards me had fair skin and good looks. He was pushing his bicycle and walking slowly.

Look at them again, their trouser legs are uneven, there are a few grains of millet stuck on their bodies, and they are covered in sweat.

The educated youth rarely came out, so Lu Qin rarely ran into them. He raised his hand and greeted them with a smile, "It's time to get off work."

The current situation of educated youth is still a characteristic of the times.

When he greeted them, everyone looked at each other in surprise. Someone recognized who he was, and the man standing in the middle greeted him back, "Yes, it's time to get off work."

Lu Qin pointed ahead and said, "It's getting late. I'm going home first."

Before he could walk away, the young educated youth turned around and looked at the man, with curiosity and envy in his eyes, "Who is he?"

"Lu Qin, from our team, works at the Laifu Food Factory in the county town."

When they mentioned work, envy flashed in their eyes, followed by exhaustion. Their previous pursuits were hopeless, and they didn't know how long they would have to stay in the countryside.

From a distance, Lu Qin glanced back at the figures of those people and was deeply touched for a moment, but he had a lot of his own things to do and had no time to care about others.

As soon as Kong Yue and Lu Qinnong entered the yard, they saw Lu Qin sitting in the light with a pile of tools at his feet.

Kong Dongdong let go of his hand and ran over, squatted down, put his hands on his knees, and asked curiously, "Uncle, what is this?"

Kong Dongdong has made great progress in his speaking ability.

Lu Qin bent over, glanced at him sideways, dragged a low stool over and shoved it under his butt, and explained seriously, "Uncle is making a toy for you."

Lu Chunnong's curious voice came from behind, "This is a radio"

Lu Qin unscrewed the nut and turned back to explain, "Yes, I got it from a colleague in the Propaganda Department. I'll try to fix it and see if it can be used."

As soon as he finished speaking, a dark shadow fell to the side. Kong Yue picked up the radio and took a look. "Do you need help?"

Lu Qin himself was really surprised, "Brother-in-law, you can..."

Kong Yue had already rolled up his sleeves and said, "Try it."

Facts have proved that Kong Yue really can do it. He learned it when he was in the army. When he goes out, he relies on himself to repair cars and small equipment.

The two of them worked together to fix it in half an hour.

A clattering noise emanated from inside. It happened to be a children's program playing that evening, adding a touch of liveliness to the quiet courtyard. Kong Dongdong nearly fell asleep in front of the radio that night.

The matter was not over yet. Lu Qin begged his aunt, "Aunt, tomorrow you can take the radio and look around. We still have one here and see who wants it."

"Okay." She agreed happily, and she would definitely hold the baby for a spin when the time came.

The next day, Lu Qin stood in the yard, a small mirror in hand. He wore plain clothes and carefully combed his hair. It was going to be a simple day. But looking left and right, it seemed that simplicity couldn't hide his beauty.

It was very obvious that he was such a big man wandering around in the yard.

His movements looked familiar. Sun Laimei recalled carefully that the last time was last year. At that time, Lu Qin was like a night owl in the team. He rarely stayed at home and couldn't stay there for the third day.

"You go to work like this." Sun Laimei remembered how the captain's eldest son often dressed.

The blue zebra-striped shirt and blue pants he was wearing didn't look like his usual style of dressing.

It's not that it's ugly or unattractive, but it's so sudden that it's confusing.

Lu Qin moved the mirror away and asked, "Auntie, can't I do this?"

Sun Laimei opened her mouth and was silent for a moment. "It's okay, but I'm not used to it."

"Very simple" he added to help describe it.

Sun Laimei seemed to be enlightened, "Yes, yes, that's it."

This is exactly what Lu Qin wanted. This is the subtle difference between working people and students. He waved his hand, put on his bulging green shoulder bag, said hello, and slipped away.

Looking at his back, Sun Laimei wondered, "He went to work dressed like this?"

Lu Chunnong looked around and could no longer see Lu Qin. She held her child's hand and said, "Mom, Kong Yue and I are going to work first. I guess Lu Qin is dressed like this because it's a factory rule. Don't worry too much."

"Go ahead. I'll help you dry the grain later."

Several newly arrived educated youth were assigned simple tasks, and she had to keep an eye on them.

At Laiyang County No. 1 Middle School, a figure in blue, carrying a shoulder bag, walked toward the main gate. No one stopped them before they entered. The gatekeeper glanced at them and then looked away.

He was walking when he stopped and suddenly turned around to say, "Good morning, uncle."

The old man nodded in slight surprise. This was the first time a student had greeted him. With just one glance, the old man remembered his face through his presbyopic eyes.

The school had just started, and the campus was bustling with activity. The entire middle school consisted of only two grades: the first and second year. The junior high school grade was located next door, separated by a wall. As we walked inside, we noticed that the majority of people on the street were male, with fewer female students.

Lu Qin, relying on his original body's memory, walked slowly all the way to the first year of high school.

After wandering around, he found that everything had changed and he didn't see any of the teachers who had taught his original self.

With the sound of jingling bells, another figure appeared by the square window of the corridor at the entrance, listening to the class.

Lu Qin glanced inside. The students were making noise below while the teacher was lecturing, but no one paid any attention. Perhaps the teacher was concerned about something and was only focusing on his own course.

The students in the classroom were no longer surprised by the extra heads on the windows.

But one of them had a neck that was stretched particularly long.
