Jiang Sui answered a phone call and went out.
Yan Junqi was left alone, pondering, "Not necessarily? How can it not necessarily be?"
He looked at Jiang Sui's departing figure and shouted dissatisfiedly, "Hey, why are you being so mysterious? If you have the guts, just tell me."
Jiang Sui turned his back to him, waved at him, and left.
Gone? Gone!
Yan Junqi was furious. He glanced fiercely in that direction and muttered, "If you don't want to tell me, then don't tell me. I can guess it myself."
Jiang Sui walked out of the manor and saw a car parked outside the door.
Jiang Ming was standing by the car, looking at the magnificent gate of the manor and the tight security. He was secretly amazed at the noble status of the people living here, who were truly extraordinary.
Seeing Jiang Sui coming out of the door, he hurried to greet him and handed him some documents with an excited look, "Master Jiang, we have negotiated with the Jiang family's lawyers, and they do not accept the settlement. So we have submitted all the evidence to the court. The trial will be held in three days. These are some of the materials you need to see."
Jiang Sui took it and flipped through it, then nodded and said, "Thank you for your hard work."
Jiang Ming waved his hand. "This is what we should do. You're welcome. But..."
His expression suddenly became hesitant, as if he was having some difficulty.
"Just tell me what you want to say, I'll do my best to cooperate."
"It's like this, the lady of the Jiang family wants to see you." Jiang Ming felt terrified when he recalled her creepy expression when she stopped him, and always felt a kind of coldness as if she was about to die.
Zhang Wan? Why was she looking for him? Was she here to beg for mercy?
Jiang Sui was too lazy to argue with her, "Tell her that there is no need for me to meet her."
Jiang Ming didn't leave, and stammered, "She said...if you don't see her, you will never know the truth about your mother's death."
Jiang Sui's eyes suddenly became sinister. When he stared at Jiang Ming, Jiang Ming felt as if his whole body was nailed to the ground. An invisible big hand pinched his neck, making it impossible for him to breathe.
"I'll go see her." Jiang Sui laughed hoarsely, his laughter making people's hair stand on end. "Go tell her I'm waiting for her."
Jiang Ming was almost on his knees. His body was so limp that he was about to collapse to the ground.
He nodded quickly upon hearing this, but he didn't dare to look Jiang Sui in the face. His teeth were chattering. "I'll tell her."
Jiang Sui withdrew his gaze, and the shackles on Jiang Ming loosened, and he felt relaxed all over.
He looked at Jiang Sui's back, his heart beating so fast that it almost jumped out of his throat.
There are only two words left in my mind: terrible, it’s really terrible.
It turned out that the young master raised in such an upper-class society was actually a bloodthirsty beast no matter how gentle he looked on the surface. He was too naive before.
He immediately called Zhang Wan and said, "Mrs. Zhang, our boss is willing to meet with you."
Zhang Wan laughed vaguely on the other end and hung up the phone.
Jiang Ming wrapped his clothes tightly. It was still a sunny day, but he felt inexplicably cold.
These people from wealthy families are all crazy, they are all quite crazy.
It seems to be covered with a bright, gentle outer layer, but in fact it is a rotten and terrifying black hole inside.
Jiang Ming shuddered, got in the car and left.
Jiang Sui's phone screen was cold, with only one sentence written on it: "Tang Mansion, tomorrow afternoon at 5 o'clock, alone."
He stared at the phone screen until it went completely dark.
When Wen Hangxing was alone in the room, all he could think about was Yan Junqi's words, "She's a little sad, go comfort her."
In an instant, all the anxiety and anger disappeared, and all that was left was guilt towards Lin Yitong.
He dragged Big Bear from the bed to the sofa. Wen Hangxing was wearing shorts today. Big Bear, because of its large size, touched his skin, and the soft touch penetrated the texture of his muscles and reached his heart.
He punched the big bear beside him in annoyance, and a hole appeared on the fluffy part. He felt it was inexplicably irritating and smoothed out the hole on the big bear's body.
Wen Hangxing picked up the big bear and pinched its ears. "What if I make her angry? How can I make her happy?"
Then he pinched Big Bear's face hard and said disdainfully, "Why don't you say anything? You're so useless."
Big Bear: ?( ̄(工) ̄)?
Wen Hangxing pinched it unconsciously and muttered to himself, "How about giving Ms. Lin a bouquet of flowers? She loves these pretty little things the most."
"No, no, the words in the garden are everywhere, there's nothing new." He rejected it again.
"Then... cook her a meal?" Wen Hangxing nodded at the table and immediately shook his head. "No, no, what if the whole family ends up in the hospital?"
After thinking about it for a long time and failing to find any good way to apologize, Wen Hangxing got up and went into the next room.
Yan Junqi was playing games with the remote control and was having fun when the half-closed door was pushed open.
He took a moment to look and saw that it was Wen Hangxing before continuing with the game in his hand.
He stared intently at the game panel and casually asked, "What's going on?"
Wen Hangxing was silent for a while, as if he was preparing himself mentally, "I want to give Ms. Lin a gift to make amends."
"Oh." Yan Junqi responded nonchalantly, still puzzled as to why he had to specifically inform him of this matter. He replied halfheartedly, "Keep going."
Wen Hangxing: "..." A black spot seemed to pass over his head.
"I came to you to ask for some advice." He resisted the urge to hit someone, and his voice remained flat.
"Oh." Yan Junqi didn't listen to what he said carefully at all, but just responded subconsciously. When he reacted, his hand shook subconsciously, and the person fell to the ground instantly.
Game over.
He looked at some of the panels, feeling somewhat unwilling, but at this moment another thing attracted him.
He squinted his eyes and smiled: "Oh my, let me hear what our Young Master Wen said? He asked me to give you some advice. I never thought that this day would come to me."
Wen Hangxing was speechless: "Don't go crazy."
Yan Junqi stretched out his index finger and shook it in front of Wen Hangxing. "No, no, no. Your attitude is not right. You should be kind to someone who helps you."
Wen Hangxing smiled coldly, reached out and hooked the ropes on both sides of his hoodie, and pulled hard. The smug face of the villain instantly changed color.
Yan Junqi covered his face and screamed in pain, "My face is pinched so hard that it hurts."
Wen Hangxing increased his strength, and Yan Junqi's face was tightly wrapped in the hat. As Wen Hangxing increased his strength, the hat became tighter.
Yan Junqi called out to Wen Hangxing for a long time, but Wen Hangxing ignored him. Suddenly, he had a sudden inspiration and made a decisive decision: "I'll think about it with you. No matter what you do, I'll cooperate with you."
Wen Hangxing let go of his hand and squinted at him. Yan Junqi's face had several red lines on it, making him look a bit out of place. "Are you being obedient now?"
Yan Junqi: "Haha."
