Mrs. Han Er instinctively sensed some danger and took two steps back, trying to seek help from the housekeeper beside her. Unfortunately, the person she was looking at just smiled and looked away.
Wen Hangxing was still standing in front of her. He didn't seem to be in a hurry, nor did he care about her obvious little thoughts at the moment.
Knowing that she couldn't get any help today, Madam Han said, "Thank you, Master Wen."
Then he followed Wen Hangxing out the door.
Wen Hangxing was tall and had long legs. Although he walked neither fast nor slow, he was still a few steps faster than Madam Han Er. However, this was exactly what Madam Han Er wanted. After all, she really didn't want to have any contact with the prince of the Wen family, who was rumored to be unlearned and arrogant.
After just a few steps, the person in front suddenly stopped.
Mrs. Han Er looked at Wen Hangxing in confusion as he waved towards a certain place on the lawn. Then a black shadow flashed over at an extremely fast speed, passed by her and ran in front of Wen Hangxing.
Then there were a few barks. Wen Hangxing picked up the golden dog and tapped its nose affectionately. "Potato, you've been running around in the yard again and got yourself all dirty. She won't be happy to hold you later."
The golden retriever barked twice in his arms, as if dissatisfied with what he said.
Madam Han shook her head slightly. She was truly crazy. How could she have thought that a dog could understand human nature? Looking at the golden puppy, disgust flashed across her eyes, but she pretended to move closer to tease the puppy. "Is this Young Master Wen's dog? It looks really well-behaved."
Before his hand even touched the golden retriever, the dog, which had been lying obediently in Wen Hangxing's arms, instantly went into attack mode, arching its back and baring its sharp fangs to bite the hand that was about to touch its head.
Mrs. Han quickly withdrew her hand, but was still inevitably injured by the dog's teeth, and a red mark instantly appeared on her well-maintained hand.
A beast is a beast!
Mrs. Han Er stretched out her fingers in panic and took a closer look. She saw an ugly red mark on her delicately maintained hand. She looked coldly at the golden retriever in Wen Hangxing's arms. Malice rose in her heart, like a beautiful glass bottle being broken and the dirty liquid inside leaking out.
Wen Hangxing hugged the golden retriever in his arms without leaving any trace. Although he also wanted to teach the woman in front of him a lesson, he knew clearly that Potato had a bad temper. Except when facing Ms. Lin, he was a well-behaved angel dog. At other times, he showed an extraordinary coldness and irritability that was beyond the ordinary for a dog. If this woman was bitten by Potato in their house today, then rumors of Ms. Lin's extreme cruelty would spread in a few days.
Therefore, a small lesson will do. After all, it is quite amusing to see her get frightened.
Madam Han frowned and questioned, "Master Wen, I'm saying this, but this dog is a beast after all. It still needs to be carefully looked after. It would be bad if it bumped into other guests."
Wen Hangxing raised his eyebrows slightly. "Didn't you provoke it yourself? Why didn't you remind yourself not to interfere?"
Madam Han's body stiffened. She had heard that the prince of the Wen family had a violent temper and cruel methods, but could he be so unreasonable?
"I'm a human, and it's a beast. Why do I need to restrain myself?"
Madam Han asked angrily, "Could it be that in Young Master Wen's heart, I am even worse than a beast?"
Wen Hangxing listened to her calling him a beast without reacting. He held down the restless dog's head in his arms and looked at her with indifferent eyes. "In my heart, you're definitely not as good as it. After all, someone who only blames others without reflecting on themselves is probably worse than a beast."
Madam Han was furious at the ridicule and pointed her finger at Wen Hangxing, "Well, you are so disrespectful to your elders! No wonder Old Master Wen has always been so rude to you. Young Master Wen's self-control really astonishes me."
Wen Hangxing didn't show any reaction when he heard the first half of her sentence, but his face suddenly turned cold when he heard the second half, like the ice and snow deep in the coldest place, which could freeze people speechless with just a touch.
The second wife of Han was indeed like this. Although she was angry, she also knew that mentioning Old Man Wen in front of Young Master Wen was a sore spot for him. She thought it was not good, but the words had been spoken and naturally could not be changed. She was also afraid that she would not be able to justify herself, so the atmosphere between the two of them became deadlocked.
Wen Hangxing's dark eyes were like gloomy dark clouds. One glance at them revealed the flashes of lightning and thunder. He looked at Madam Han and replied coldly, "If you have the time to come to my house and accuse me, you'd better go back and discipline your son properly so that he won't make a fool of himself like a dog in heat."
Mrs. Han was of course angry that her beloved son was insulted in such a way, but this time she was smart for a moment. She trembled when she met Wen Hangxing's cold gaze, and did not say anything to defend him. She just stood there in a low voice.
Since he had already warned her, Wen Hangxing didn't want to say anything more to her. He put down the golden fur and said, "Send Madam Han away."
Madam Han Er looked at him in disbelief and asked in a lost voice, "Didn't you send me out?"
The Wen Hang alien was standing there, much taller than her. He looked down at her from the corner of his eyes, saying nothing, but Madam Han Er could sense the words "you don't deserve it".
It's so bullying.
Unfortunately, those who are bullied dare not raise any questions.
Wen Hangxing turned and left without even giving the noisy woman a glance. He disappeared around the corner slowly, leaving only the man and the dog standing there.
Potato impatiently shouted at the stunned woman, "If you want to leave, leave quickly. Don't delay me from going back to find my mother."
Unfortunately, Mrs. Han Er didn't understand dog language, and she thought the dog was about to attack at any time. She stood there trembling, her legs weak.
Potato stopped barking, tilted his head, and stared at her with his big black round eyes. He barked a few times in disgust, "This human is not smart at all."
Strange, what is this smell?
Potato circled the stupidly standing human several times before suddenly sneezing. It stuck out its tongue and said, "What a terrible smell! It stinks!"
Madam Han stood there trembling with fear the entire time, watching the golden retriever circling around her, thinking it was looking for a good place to bite. Tears streamed from the corners of her eyes as she threatened, "Little beast, don't bite me. Otherwise, I will kill you!"
Potato looked at the unintelligent woman in front of him and snorted with disdain, "You stink! Who wants to eat you? Mommy smells so good! I'm going to find her. Let's go!"
Potato bit Mrs. Han's skirt and dragged her to the door.
Mrs. Han Er clenched the bag in her hand in fear, not daring to confront the dog, and followed the dog step by step.
Finally reaching the door, Potato quickly loosened her skirt and ran to the water pipe in front of the security office to rinse her mouth. "It stinks, so disgusting."
