The phone rang for a few seconds before being picked up. The sweet yet polite voice of the female secretary came from the other end, "Hello, Second Madam. Mr. Han is busy right now. You can let me know your situation first, and I will report to Mr. Han later."
That being said, both sides knew that Han Fu had only given them his assistant's number, so if they really wanted to have a direct conversation, it would still be difficult.
Madam Han swept away her previous arrogance and said cautiously, "It's nothing serious. It's mainly because Han Yuan recently had a small friction with the young master of the Wen family, but the other party is holding on to this matter, so I want to ask Han Fu to help mediate."
The secretary held the phone and subconsciously glanced at the person sitting in front of the office. Then he looked away and said without any emotion, "Okay, I will tell you the truth. Does Mrs. Han have anything else to say?"
"No, no more."
Mrs. Han shook her head, thought for a moment, and softened her attitude. "Secretary Song, you know I only have one child, Han Yuan. Naturally, I hope he grows up safely. I also hope you can have a good talk with Han Fu. Just consider it a favor for me."
It was almost time to get off work, but Song Baoqing was currently working on a major project, and a thick stack of documents was piled up in front of her computer. Although she felt impatient, she was always thorough in her work, so she spoke kindly, "Don't worry, Mr. Han won't let Young Master Han Yuan suffer any injustice. Does Second Madam Han have any other instructions?"
Mrs. Han was very satisfied. Secretary Han Fu was a capable person, not bad.
Unfortunately, what she didn't know was that Song Baoqing's previous words actually meant that he didn't intend to interfere in the boss's family affairs. After all, Song Baoqing thought meaningfully: Han Yuan, this young master who grew up being spoiled, it would be strange if he didn't cause trouble.
After receiving Mrs. Han's denial, Song Baoqing said politely, "Then I will report to President Han now."
After hanging up the phone, Secretary Song put it down and walked towards the man who was concentrating on reading the documents. "Mr. Han, the Second Madam just called and said she hopes you can come forward to resolve the conflict between Young Master Han and Young Master Wen."
Han Fu frowned when he heard Han Yuan's name. He was about to tell him not to bother him with such trivial matters, but he paused when he heard the three words "Young Master Wen".
"The one from Wen Zeli's family?"
The man put down the documents in his hand and asked with his thin lips.
"Yes."
Secretary Song lowered his head and replied, but in his heart he was thinking about the reason for his boss's unusual attitude at the moment.
Han Fu suddenly smiled and said, "Go back and tell her that I will handle this matter. They don't need to intervene."
"OK."
Secretary Song turned to leave, but was stopped. "By the way, send a visiting card to the Wen family and visit them tomorrow."
Secretary Song hid the surprise in his eyes and replied respectfully, "Okay, President Wen. I'll do it right away."
The ward was silent. The window was broken and a pile of vase fragments lay on the floor.
Mrs. Han was trying to comfort Han Yuan, whose eyes were red, in a gentle voice, "Yuanyuan, don't be angry. It's also for your health that we're letting you stay in the hospital for a while longer."
Han Yuan roared fiercely, "Get out! I've had enough of lying in bed like this! I want to be discharged!"
The bespectacled, serious-looking doctor held up the medical record and said in a businesslike manner, "I'm sorry, Master Han. The latest examination report shows that you are not suitable for discharge at this time. Forcing you to be discharged will harm your body. For your health, you really need to delay your discharge."
Han Yuan raised his hand, picked up the fruit plate next to him and threw it at the person who was speaking, completely ignoring the fact that the powerful tone of Chinese glass would open a hole in the person's head on the spot.
The expressions of everyone in the ward changed immediately, and some of them lost their patience and shouted on the spot: "Doctor Zhou, be careful!"
The fruit plate, wrapped in cold wind, was heading straight for the man's face. Just as it was about to hit him, it was caught by a pair of well-proportioned hands. A cold gleam flashed in Dr. Zhou's eyes, and he loosened his fingers, and the fruit plate immediately fell to the ground and broke into pieces.
He raised his glasses, looked at Han Yuan, who had a bad look on his face, and said softly, "Young Master Han's current physical condition is not suitable for strenuous exercise. Be careful not to dislocate your hand."
After saying that, he didn't care about Han Yuan's face which immediately turned cold. He handed the medical record to the nurse behind him and left.
The remaining nurses also looked unhappy. After all, who would be nice to a patient who attacked a doctor? However, out of professional ethics, they still diligently examined Han Yuan, but their attitude was obviously much colder than before.
After everyone left, Mrs. Han looked at her son worriedly, "What if you suddenly lost your temper this time and angered Dr. Zhou?"
Han Yuan said nonchalantly, "He's just a doctor. If he offends me, I can make him quit in a minute."
Mrs. Han Er was a die-hard fan of her son, so she thought it was indeed true and did not take the matter seriously.
Zhou Shengyuan stood in front of the office window and dialed a number. The call was connected within seconds, and a man's low and cold voice came from the other end, "What's the matter?"
Zhou Shengyuan said with a smile: "Boss Wen, what are you doing as a busy man?"
Wen Zeli rubbed his brows and didn't waste time talking to him. "If you have something to say, just say it."
Zhou Shengyuan complained, "You're still so heartless. After all, you're married. I thought you were going to change your personality."
There was no more talk from the other end.
Well, Zhou Shengyuan thought: This guy has been like this since he was a child, I'm used to it.
"Your son sent someone to ask me to deal with that kid from the Han family. Did you know about this?"
Wen Zeli never cared about Wen Hangxing's affairs, so he just replied: "That's his business, I never pay attention to it."
"oh oh."
Zhou Shengyuan changed the subject, "But I was almost injured today because of this. I can't ask my nephew to compensate me for mental damages."
Wen Zeli wanted to hang up the phone. "Give me an account number and I'll have someone transfer some money to you. If nothing else, hang up."
Zhou Shengyuan marveled at his generosity while shamelessly pestering him, "Although you're usually busy, you'll at least chat with me for a while. Why are you in such a hurry today?"
There was a cold look between Wen Zeli's eyebrows, but Zhou Shengyuan was not afraid of him. No, it should be said that he was afraid and embarrassed, and he was still talking.
"Let me guess, do you want to go back and be with your wife?"
It was originally a joke, but Wen Zeli's silence almost made him jump up.
"No way, Old Wen. Are you serious?"
Wen Zeli hummed a low "hmm" and was about to hang up when someone interrupted him with a high-pitched voice, "I never thought someone as cold-blooded and ruthless as you would end up like this one day. What does your sister-in-law look like? Bring her here for us to see."
Wen Zeli paused and said, "Come when you have time."
