Secretary Wang greeted Chen Bairong politely when passing by him, and then immediately followed Wen Zeli out of the conference room door.
Chen Bairong stood alone in the conference room, his heart awash with emotion. He tore off the mask of hypocrisy on his face and thought gloomily: Could it be that Wen Zeli knew about that matter? It seems that he still needs to discuss it with that person.

Wen Zeli's eyes drifted out the window and he said, "One more missing."
Facing Wang Sheng's puzzled and inquisitive expression, Wen Zeli slowly said, "Chen Bairong has always sought profit and avoided harm, and he's incredibly vindictive. Now that this matter is halfway through, he's bound to back down because of the benefits that are about to come. So he definitely won't voluntarily reveal the person behind this. I'm afraid he's in great pain right now."
Wang Sheng became increasingly confused as he listened. "Are you saying that Chen Bairong isn't the mastermind?"
Wen Zeli sighed softly and looked at his confused subordinate. "What motive do you think he has for doing something that would harm the interests of the company?"
Wang Sheng secretly looked at his boss, not knowing how to start. While he was struggling, he heard his boss say, "Say whatever you think."
Wang Sheng's voice was as soft as a mosquito's. "I thought he was dissatisfied with you and wanted to usurp the throne."
Wen Zeli looked at his subordinate as if he were a fool. "Do you think that with his cautious personality, he would take action without being instigated?"
To put it nicely, Chen Bairong is overly cautious, and to put it bluntly, he is afraid of death. After Wen Zeli became the president, he cleaned up many people who relied on their old company status to disobey orders, but he spared Chen Bairong. The reason was that he had been in the company for so many years, and although he sometimes bumped into Wen Zeli, he had never made any big mistakes. After Wen Zeli walked out of the office door, Wang Sheng looked in the direction he left with a responsible look, thinking to himself: This is really terrible. He had been thankful countless times that he did not become an enemy of Wen Zeli, otherwise, he would have been beaten to a pulp.
