Chapter 46 No Need for Help

Lin Yitang paused, then turned to Wen Zeli, who had been silent since he finished speaking. He was currently fiddling with his phone with his head down. After a moment's thought, he said, "You can't do that either."

Wen Zeli looked at her with a smile, his gaze so intense that it made Lin Yitang uncomfortable, but she still forced herself to look him in the eye without any hesitation.

Wen Zeli put away the smile on his face and said lightly: "Since Madam doesn't like me to be involved, I will not participate."

After saying this, he seemed to have lost interest. He didn't even glance at Wen Hangxing and Lin Yitong who were still standing there, and sat down on the chair slowly.

Lin Yitang turned to look at Wen Hangxing, only to see him shrug as if he was used to it. "Why are you looking at me? He's always like this, unpredictable and mysterious."

Lin Yitang felt that this matter was inappropriate, very and extremely wrong.

There was a sense of tranquility at the table, as if the surface was calm, but in fact the waves were turbulent inside.

Wen Hangxing seemed to be used to this. He ate and drank without any psychological burden throughout the whole process. If he thought something was delicious, he would even give Lin Yitang a piece of his chopsticks. However, he did not dare to say a word and could only wink at Lin Yitang.

Lin Yitang had a terrible headache. After getting to know Wen Hangxing for a long time, she realized that he was actually much more lively. He seemed to have a cynical nature in his bones. But his actions at this moment, which seemed to be deliberately targeting and provoking Wen Zeli, made her feel that this was not okay. Lin Yitang thought: I have to work on his temperament.

Lin Yitang secretly raised her eyes to glance at Wen Zeli opposite her, and saw that the man was eating with his eyes lowered. There was nothing wrong with his behavior, and it was rather pleasing to the eye. Even when he was eating, he was dignified and elegant, as bright as the moon.

When Wen Hangxing was serving her food for the third time, Lin Yitang looked at the garlic in her bowl and said, "Okay, I'm not picky about food, but I don't like garlic either."

Her words were like a drop of oil on the calm surface of the waves, instantly breaking the strange atmosphere.

Wen Hangxing was tall, and he saw a garlic lying in Lin Yitang's bowl by stretching his neck slightly. He immediately sat up straight and glanced at Lin Yitang from time to time.

Lin Yitang looked at Wen Hangxing with clear eyes, and caught his gaze. Suddenly, without any reason, he said, "Don't do this. Just eat well."

Although the housekeeper and servants waiting on the side felt that there was something wrong with this sentence, they did not think much about it. Maybe the lady did not need the young master to pick up food for her anymore.

But Wen Hangxing clearly understood Lin Yitang's meaning and responded sullenly. Sure enough, he didn't do anything else.

A slight "pop" sound came from the other side. Wen Zeli stood up and the butler hurried forward, "Sir, have you finished eating?"

Wen Zeli: "Yeah." He gave the housekeeper an ambiguous look and said, "Don't do unnecessary things." Then he went upstairs.
