Chapter 47 All Good Children

The facts were there, and Wen Hangxing had no way to argue. He could only beg for mercy: "Stop talking, stop talking. I know I was wrong. I'm sorry."

Wen Hangxing's head unconsciously rested against Lin Yitang's shoulder. Lin Yitang pushed his head away with his index finger with a righteous look, and said expressionlessly: "Don't act like a spoiled child. Go in and apologize to Uncle Liu. You're so old and you still torment him every day."

The black head buried in his shoulder did not move. Lin Yitang shrugged, his tone unconsciously serious, "Did you hear that?"

"I heard it~" Wen Hangxing replied lazily, "Housekeeper."

"You!" Lin Yitang pretended to hit him, but Wen Hangxing jumped away and turned around to make a face at her, "I can't catch you! Hahahahaha..."

Seeing that Wen Hangxing had regained his former vitality, Lin Yitang shook his head and scolded: "Childish! Remember to bandage the wound on your hand!"

The butler was alone in the dining room, looking at the recessed tabletop. He was worried that the young master, who was in a manic state, might hurt his wife. He walked back and forth anxiously in the living room, and his originally well-groomed silver hair became a little messy in his anxiety.

The butler turned around and faced Wen Hangxing behind him. He gasped in fear, "Master, what are you doing?"

Wen Hangxing showed a shy and stiff smile on his face, which made the old man who had seen all kinds of human conditions take a few steps back. The young master was really acting weird!

The next words made him feel like he was dreaming. The whole world became a fantasy. Wen Hangxing opened his mouth and uttered three words: "I'm sorry."

Housekeeper: “???!!!” If you are possessed by a ghost, just tell me, what’s going on with this inexplicable chill?

Perhaps the housekeeper's expression was too obvious, Wen Hangxing said in self-deprecation: "I'm sorry, I made you worry just now."

The butler continued to retreat, a smile on his face, and he was unusually confused: "Oh, it's okay, Master."

Wen Hangxing thought he had achieved his goal and was about to leave when he caught a glimpse of red in his peripheral vision. He instantly felt like he had seen a ghost, scratched his head and said, "Hey, Uncle Liu, don't cry! You, I... am not."

When the housekeeper saw the boy's helpless look, it was as if he saw the well-behaved and cute little boy from many years ago, and the tears in his eyes deepened.

Wen Hangxing saw Lin Yitang coming in and hurriedly shouted, "Come quickly, I really don't know what to do."

He dragged Lin Yitang in front of the housekeeper and ran up the stairs as fast as a dog chasing him.

Lin Yitang crossed his arms and looked at her back, then smiled at the housekeeper and said, "She's like a husky, right? She looks fierce, but she's actually very well behaved."

The fine lines at the corners of the housekeeper's eyes showed a smile, "Madam, please go up too. When you get old, you tend to be sentimental."

Lin Yitang didn't refuse, knowing that what he needed now was time, so he nodded at him and said.

The housekeeper stood there, looking at Lin Yitang's slender yet powerful back, listening to Wen Hangxing's unrefined yet dependent shouts from upstairs, wiping his eyes with a handkerchief, and sighed: "They are all good children!"
