Chapter 59 Two Childish Kids

Since that night, Jiang Sui had no hope for his father. Not to mention that after Wen Hangxing's forces uncovered the truth behind his mother's death, his heart was filled with hatred for those scumbags.

Jiang Sui's thoughts were churning. He suddenly looked back at the past and thought about what had happened in the past few days. He felt even more guilty towards Wen Hangxing.

Wen Hangxing asked: "You have been very abnormal recently. What do you want to do? Or, what do you want to get from her?"

Jiang Sui smiled bitterly, "Do you think I must be seeking something?"

Wen Hangxing looked at him strangely. "Of course, you never get up early unless there's something to gain."

Jiang Sui was silent for a moment, then spoke tentatively, "What if I really want to do something to her?"

Wen Hangxing's eyes instantly became sharp, like a sword tempered by ice. "She treats you very well, don't hurt her feelings."

Jiang Sui shook his head. "I won't hurt her feelings. I think... I just want to get in touch with her more."

Wen Hangxing: “???” Why are you blushing?

Jiang Sui: "I feel that Aunt Lin gives me a very warm feeling, and I can't help but want to get close to her." Seeking stability and staying away is human instinct, just like seeking benefits and avoiding harm.

Wen Hangxing: "..." Very good, you are certainly not hurting her feelings, you are dancing on my dead body!

If it was before Lin Yitang said that, Wen Hangxing would have given Jiang Sui a series of punches today, but Wen Hangxing thought a little arrogantly, no matter how close you are to her, I am unique in her heart.

The anger in Wen Hangxing's mind was extinguished with a "puff", but he couldn't be so generous as to give half of Lin Yitong to Jiang Sui, so he remained silent and did not respond.

Jiang Suixin gradually lost consciousness. His usually clear voice sounded like a damaged cello, hoarse and low. "Hangxing, I don't mean to argue with you, but I... I can't control myself." No matter what he said, it felt like he was just making excuses. Jiang Sui paused, hesitating for a moment before saying something irrelevant, "I haven't touched the sun in a long time."

Wen Hangxing closed his eyes. The bones of his slender thumb were clearly visible, and when it was tense, one could even see the purple veins. He thought, he had known this feeling before, so he naturally knew the depth of Jiang Sui's obsession. "What if I say no? Will you stay away from her?"

Jiang Sui raised his head suddenly and said through clenched teeth: "I... can."

"Hmph." Wen Hangxing sneered, his dark pupils like fine obsidian, carrying a deep coldness, "You won't, Jiang Sui, you won't." He knew Jiang Sui too well, so he understood that Jiang Sui couldn't give up. They were the same kind of people, who would always do whatever it takes to get close to and master the things they liked, no matter the cost!

"Sometimes I really want to punch you!" Wen Hangxing's suppressed voice clearly poured into Jiang Sui's ears, "You'd better take care of yourself and don't get in my way."

Jiang Sui's eyes flashed with surprise, "You agree?"

Wen Hangxing felt irritated by his appearance and waved him away, "Get lost."

Jiang Sui glanced at him, knowing that he didn't want to see him right now, and left obediently. Halfway through, Wen Hangxing's voice came from behind him, "I am special in front of her, don't try to compete with me."

Jiang Sui smiled and said, "I know, I won't." I will never confront you, this is the oath I made ten years ago.

"This is the best!" Wen Hangxing lowered his head and muttered softly, the depression between his eyebrows dissipated a little. Forget it, Wen Hangxing thought expressionlessly, just think of it as having another younger brother.

Jiang Sui walked in first and found Lin Yitong still sitting in the living room talking to Aunt Wang. Her eyes were as clear and bright as a crescent moon. The sunlight covered her like a layer of gauze. The turbidity accumulated in Jiang Sui's heart seemed to dissipate. He thought, how great it is.

Lin Yitang saw him and waved at him, "Xiao Sui, come and eat the sago. The ice inside is almost melting."

Jiang Sui: "Thank you, Aunt Lin." He turned and said to Aunt Wang: "Thank you, Aunt Wang."

Aunt Wang waved her hand flatteredly, "Master Jiang, please don't be so polite. You are his friend and also a guest of the Wen family."

Jiang Sui smiled when he heard this and stopped being polite.

Lin Yitang looked behind him and asked in confusion: "Where is that kid Wen Hangxing? Why isn't he here?"

"Ah," Jiang Sui stirred the purple sweet potato in the bowl, "He's still in the back, he should be coming out soon."

Seeing that Wen Hangxing didn't come out for a while, Lin Yitang lowered his voice and asked, "Xiao Sui, do you know why his grades are so difficult to talk about?"

Jiang Sui: "..." Aunt Lin, don't be so blunt.

Lin Yitang met Jiang Sui's gaze, coughed dryly, and said, "Am I not worried about him too?"

Jiang Sui put down the spoon in his hand and said seriously: "Aunt Lin, Hangxing's grades weren't like this at the beginning. On the contrary, before high school, his grades were better than mine. I think his problem is not academic, but psychological."

Lin Yitang frowned and continued, "Do you know what happened to him?"

Jiang Sui was also a little embarrassed. He said, "Jun Qi and I are very worried about him, but we don't quite understand the reason. However, it seems to be related to his previous incident. Aunt Lin, you..."

Wen Hangxing saw Lin Yitang and Jiang Sui huddled close together, seemingly affectionate. Jealousy welled up in him. "Well, Jiang Sui, you're like a white lotus, saying one thing and doing another. Have you forgotten all the promises you just made?! Do you still see me as your brother? You just made a promise, and now you're backstabbing me! I shouldn't have been soft-hearted. I'm so stupid, honestly." Wen Hangxing thought blankly.
