The old man came back after washing his hands and looked at his great-grandchildren first. The innocent faces of his three little great-grandchildren made him feel soft-hearted.
"Ah." Li Zhen, who was lying in the middle, opened her eyes wide, pouted her little mouth, and a bubble appeared on her mouth.
Old Master Yan smiled, poked the bubble with his finger, and it disappeared with a pop. Li Zhen glanced at him and continued blowing bubbles.
"This kid is a naughty one." He shook his head and chuckled, then walked back to the dining room, sat down at the top, and talked to his eldest grandson and his wife. "Our second son is a tough one. The big and small ones are all well-behaved, but he loves to blow bubbles."
Zhong Yuxiu pursed her lips and chuckled. Yan Rushan remained noncommittal. "How could such young children know what leather is? They just think it's fun to blow it. They're small and have nothing else to play with."
Yuxiu paused and glanced at Yan Rushan. His words reminded her; the children are still young now, and they can start basic exercises in more than half a month. In the interstellar space, children can be recited the basic knowledge of all walks of life three months after they are born.
When they reach two years old, their brains and intelligence are developed and they choose what they enjoy. The knowledge they learned before the age of two comes in handy, guiding them to do manual operations. Parents can choose industries and interests that children enjoy based on their strengths or what they are best at.
There aren't that many basic knowledge points here, so she has to find a way to list all the knowledge points in this world; oh, and there's Goudan.
After dinner, Zhong Yuxiu went upstairs to the laboratory, while Yan Rushan stayed downstairs talking to his grandfather.
"Gou Dan."
"Beep beep." Goudan's phone started up. "Hello, Master. I'm glad to see you again. When will you continue your research? I'm looking forward to it."
Zhong Yuxiu glanced at it and said, "My children's enlightenment books, Li Ji, Li Ming, and Li Zhen, are more than two months old. Where can you find them?"
"Yes, Master, my knowledge is quite comprehensive." Goudan rattled off a string of book titles. "Master, are you planning to sort these out for the little master?"
"You're responsible for organizing it and recording it on the computer. I'll work on the printer."
"Okay, Master. I'll pack the dog eggs and hand them over to you as soon as possible."
Zhong Yuxiu turned back to the computer and first created a drawing software on the computer, which was specifically used for drawing. After the software was completed, Zhong Yuxiu drew out the various components of the printer and the production steps on the computer, and also considered whether the materials in the current time and space could keep up.
After some operations, the printer's plan was completed; after recording the materials with pen and paper, Zhong Yuxiu took the paper downstairs and handed it to Gu Lingguo.
"Go and give this paper to Comrade Xi Nian. Tell him that I really need these materials, and the sooner the better."
"I understand." Gu Lingguo took the folded paper, put it in his chest, and strode out of the Zhong family.
Old Master Yan glanced at her and asked nothing. "You've worked all day. It's time to rest. Don't push yourself too hard."
Yuxiu smiled and nodded, then sat down on the sofa. Goudan would list the knowledge points in the chip; she didn't have to go upstairs, and the computer was in Goudan's care, so there would be no mistakes.
"I know, I just had an idea suddenly."
"Young people should take care of their health. Your health is more important than anything else." He had only just learned about her abilities before, so he couldn't help but have great expectations for her talents. He only wanted her to serve the country, but after she had achieved so many things, her level of hard work remained the same, and he became a little worried again.
Lazy people are disappointing and frustrating, and diligent people are also worrying and frustrating.
Yan Rushan got up and went to the kitchen to bring her some fruit. "Eat something to replenish your water."
Zhong Yuxiu enjoyed it without hesitation. The three of them chatted in the living room for a while. The old man was tired, so he took a shower early and went back to his bedroom. Yan Rushan and Zhong Yuxiu discussed the children's problems in the hall, and Zhong Yuxiu confided her thoughts to him.
"Goudan has parenting knowledge. When children are three months old, you can read various knowledge points to them. When they are two years old, you can let them choose an industry they are good at and interested in, and then focus on that area."
Yan Rushan gave her a strange look and asked, "Didn't you say before that it would be up to the children's wishes?"
"It's up to them. They chose it, not me." Zhong Yuxiu spread her hands and shrugged. There was nothing wrong with what she said.
There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with saying this.
Yan Rushan changed his mind and said, "We can't decide like that. The children are still young. Just because they like something now doesn't mean they will like it in the future."
"Knowledge now cultivates their interests, but it doesn't determine their future. There's nothing wrong with a person learning more; on the contrary, it will make him better. Do you understand?"
Under Yuxiu's gaze, Yan Rushan nodded blankly, "I see. Let's give it a try. Grandpa is bored at home. It's better to go out for a few drinks less."
Zhong Yuxiu shook her head. "That won't work. Grandpa might not understand the parenting tips Goudan has compiled. Reading them verbatim won't help. Children need guidance to understand whether they listen or not."
"It's only been three months, how can I guide them? How much can they listen to?" Yan Rushan disagreed with this; however, since his wife thought so and had even put it into action, he had no choice but to support her.
A child may not know much knowledge even at the age of three or four, let alone his three precious children who have to start school at a young age.
"I'll come back every night and tell them the story. You and Grandpa can listen. During the day, if Grandpa is interested, I can repeat it to them."
Yan Rushan nodded, "This is the only way, but the children are still young after all."
"I won't tell them too much, just little by little. Right now, I'm just letting them get used to my voice and parenting tips. When they start to remember things, I'll explain it to them again." Star children generally have high IQs, and quite a few are already learning by the age of two or three. Even so, only a few can become leaders in their respective fields. She doesn't expect the children of this backward world to be exceptional, but simply wants to do her best as a mother. "It doesn't matter if they don't learn well."
"You always know how to act in moderation. You can do whatever you want." Anyway, it won't harm the children.
The couple continued to chat for a long time about their children's future, even though their future was still a long way off; Yan Rushan and Zhong Yuxiu were also very excited about the conversation. This might be the love and hope that parents have for their children.
At ten o'clock, Gu Lingguo returned and brought back a large cardboard box.
"Comrade Zhong, Comrade Xi Nian put it together for you overnight." Gu Lingguo placed the cardboard box on the coffee table and pushed it towards her. "Please take a look and see if you are satisfied. Before I left, Comrade Xi Nian told you that if you are not satisfied, you can call him. If you want a certain type of part, and if you are not satisfied with any of them, and you have the standard data, we can have someone rush to make one for you."
