Xi Nian brought his guards and went to the compound in person to confirm the house; then, he delivered the key to Zhong Yuxiu before lunch time.
"Comrade Zhong, the large courtyard you requested has been arranged. You can decide how to decorate it. I will arrange for someone to build the laboratory you require, and install the latest equipment. We will move the lab in the house you currently live in to the lab outside when the time comes."
The experimental equipment we are using now is not very good, it's time to replace it.
Zhong Yuxiu nodded. "Okay, we'll renovate the house ourselves, and you'll have to arrange for someone to decorate the lab. It doesn't have to look anything fancy, just similar to a university lab. As for where to put the lab, I'll have to see it first before I can confirm."

Xi Nian looked at the time. It was already past eleven forty, and it was indeed time for lunch. It would be inconvenient to go out to eat and come back now, and it would be a waste of time to go back to the office to eat.

The houses in the compound have to be rented, not lived in for free; they are just arranging the houses, not buying or selling them.
Zhong Yuxiu walked into the restaurant and saw that they were talking happily, so she walked over to Yan Rushan and sat down.
Yan Rushan took her hand under the table and squeezed it. Zhong Yuxiu turned her head, smiled, and asked Xi Nian, "Comrade Xi Nian, after the housing was arranged, what was the situation over there? Are the residents okay?"
"We've inquired, and the residents next to Building 18 are pretty okay, except for one family that's a bit of a troublemaker. Therefore, we've arranged for you to live in Building 11. Wang Daya and Gong Zhaodi served them fruits, juice and snacks after the meal, which were mainly prepared for the children.
Xi Nian took a piece of fruit in his hand, but didn't eat it. His eyes followed the three children.
"They eat a lot now, they have really good appetites." Observing secretly, he found that they had eaten at least three bowls of food. The bowls were not very big; but the amount was almost the same as the bowls they used, plus the fruits they ate, their appetites were better than his.
"Eat more when you are growing." Yan Rushan continued indifferently.
