Chapter 17 Peach Cake

Finally, chop the green onion, ginger, garlic and chili pepper. When everything is ready, start heating oil in a pan. When the oil is hot, add the chopped green onion, ginger, garlic and chili pepper and stir-fry until fragrant. Add some water and wait for the water to boil. Add some seasonings, then add the shredded tofu and kelp and simmer slowly.

Less than two minutes after it was put in, Gu Huaijin walked in from the door.

"Now that you're back, go to the cafeteria and buy some steamed buns. If you want to eat rice, buy some more rice. It's too late to cook." Song Zhi looked up at him and made arrangements.

Gu Huaijin responded softly and obediently went to the cafeteria to buy things.

Captain Qin from next door also happened to come out of his house. Seeing Gu Huaijin coming out again, he asked in surprise, "What are you doing?"

"To the cafeteria."

"Your family didn't cook today either." Captain Qin was a little gloating. To be precise, it wasn't that his family didn't cook, but that they didn't cook for him.

After Gu Huaijin bought the steamed buns and said hello to Captain Qin, he hurried back, leaving Captain Qin alone to eat in the cafeteria.

"It's just in time. The meal is ready." Song Zhi took the steamed buns and put them in the steamed bun basket, and asked Gu Huaijin to carry the prepared meal into the main room together.

"When you have time, go and buy a bicycle. I've been borrowing one from Aunt Zhao these past two days."

"Okay, is there anything else you need? I'll take a day off tomorrow to buy some." Gu Huaijin looked straight at Song Zhi, and there was a hint of tenderness in his eyes.

Song Zhi got goosebumps in an instant. Why did this person make such an expression?

"Anything else? Can you get some cement to clean up the toilet, and install a door? I can't stand the smell in the toilet, so I ran to the yard." Song Zhi thought for a while and asked.

"There is cement, but it's not very suitable to have a door in the toilet."

"Why not?" Song Zhi retorted, suspecting he was just making excuses for not wanting to press the button. Wasn't that how things were arranged at home when he was in Kyoto?
