Chapter 47 Good evening, Gu Xing
Li Xue was the last to get on the bus, carrying a bag of washed grapes.
He smiled and said, "Mianmian, are you in a bad mood today? Come, have some grapes."
Ruan Xingmian thought that his performance just now was not very good.
Seeing this, he waved it away, put on a sullen face, and closed his eyes: "I don't want to eat. I'm so annoyed."
Li Xue took one look and stopped smiling.
Ruan Ze quickly reached out to take it, put one in his mouth, and stuffed one into Ruan Xingyue who was driving. "If Mianmian doesn't want to eat it, we will. Xingyue and I love it."
Ruan Xingyue stared straight ahead, a grape in her mouth, "Damn! Dad, have you washed your hands yet?"
Ruan Ze laughed: "Sorry, it seems I really haven't washed it."
"Pooh."
Ruan Xingyue spat it out directly, and the grapes fell to her feet. Ruan Xingyue squeezed the steering wheel hard, her face full of broken defense: "How many times have I told you, don't feed me! Do I need you to feed me because I don't have hands?"
"That's enough." Li Xue said coldly, "You are disrespectful."
Ruan Xingmian curled up into a ball with his eyes tightly closed.
This sentence is probably directed at her.
She opened her eyes and glanced at Li Xue, and saw that she was looking straight ahead with a pout on her lips and a very bad look on her face.
Ruan Xingmian closed her eyes sadly.
At about 12:40, the car drove out of Lenan Expressway.
Leaving the city center along the ring road, we slide onto the national highway and cross a small bridge. On the other side of the bridge, the paddy fields are connected into one piece, and the rice in the night is rustling in the wind.
The road narrows suddenly at the end of the rice field, and the fruit trees are lush and green. The road becomes narrower and slowly goes uphill, and the village is in sight.
"We're home." Ruan Ze couldn't wait to take out his cigarette and lighter. He held the cigarette between his fingers, not daring to light it yet. He pointed out the window and said, "The weather is good this year, the rice is ripe, and we'll be busy for National Day."
No one talked to him, and he could still enjoy himself by himself: "The year before last or last year, I harvested the grain for three days and it didn't break my back."
The car drove into the courtyard nearest to the village entrance. There was a circle of fruit trees planted around it, with white non-woven bags hung between the leaves. It was obvious to the naked eye that this year's red-heart pomelo had a bountiful harvest.
There was a figure standing in front of the yard. He was tall, with gray hair, and looked energetic, standing on tiptoe and looking around.
The light swept across her face and she raised her hand to block it.
The car pulled over steadily, and he lowered his elbows, revealing a smile similar to his uncle's: "We're finally here."
Ruan Xingmian raised his upper body, trying to see the facial features clearly.
Two soft words got stuck in my throat - mother-in-law.
The car door opened and Li Xue got out first. The mother-in-law and daughter-in-law exchanged greetings and moved things into the house.
Ruan Xingmian got out of the car and her wrist was pinched.
Ruan Xingyue dragged her to the orchard. Halfway there, she thought of dragging a pregnant woman and couldn't help but slow down her pace.
With no one around, Ruan Xingyue folded her arms and said, "You don't have to imitate her, just be yourself."
Ruan Xingmian showed an accusing expression and said, "I've offended someone, and now you're telling me this."
She really relied on it.
"My sister is moody by nature, so my parents won't take it to heart. You don't have to worry."
Ruan Xingmian couldn't help but ask, "Why is it that your family favors her when she behaves so strangely and has no manners?"
Ruan Xingyue suddenly pulled her upper body over and touched the back of her head, where there was no trace of surgery. "She had a head injury in a car accident. She was only six years old at the time. She was about to start school that day, and she was so excited to see the new school when she was crossing the street that my mother didn't hold her hand."
Ruan Xingmian nodded: "Oh."
No wonder Li Xue always doted on the original owner no matter what she did.
He was strict and harsh to Ruan Xingyue, but coaxed and doted on the original owner.
She looked at Ruan Xingyue: "Then can I follow your sister to call them?"
Ruan Xingyue raised her chin and said, "It's up to you. As long as you don't say you're fake, they won't think of that."
She just asked her to keep her mouth shut and not admit everything in front of her just to scare her.
Who knew she misunderstood?
"I hope you can understand me. Even though she was disobedient, I wanted to beat her to death many times. Now you have become her, and I don't know where she is. I feel a little..."
Ruan Xingmian nodded: "I know."
She can understand.
"I promise I won't hurt any of you."
Ruan Xingyue didn't say anything, and no one knew what she was thinking.
Ruan Xingmian looked around boredly. The mountains, rivers, and trees were hidden in the night. The quiet outlines were daunting, yet familiar.
"Ruan Xingmian." Ruan Xingyue suddenly said, "Remember, you are Ruan Xingmian now. If someone questions you, you question her in return. Remember that."
"good."
Ruan Xingmian looked up and asked her: "Why do you believe this kind of thing?"
Ruan Xingyue: “I have studied relevant papers.”
Is there such a paper?
"Ruan Xingyue, take your sister back to the room to clean up and go to bed."
Li Xue said standing at the door.
"Come on, I'll take you to the bedroom."
Ruan Xingmian rubbed her eyes; she was also sleepy.
Out of the corner of my eye I caught a glimpse of a familiar mud-walled house.
Below the orchard, it seemed to have been abandoned for a long time.
"Is that the family house too?"
"Yeah, the old house."
Ruan Xingmian looked back again.
I was suspicious, wondering if it was the original owner's memory.
Lying on the bed, she thought for half an hour but couldn't figure out how to coax Li Xue.
Fell asleep in a daze.
At the same time, Gu Xing finished typing the last string of code at his desk, reached out for the water cup on the table, and drank it all in one gulp.
Gu Xing put down the cup when he saw the computer suddenly flash out of the corner of his eye.
He used the desktop computer he bought when he was an undergraduate. Since he lived here permanently, he found time to move it here from the dormitory.
Is it going to be scrapped?
Gu Xing first confirmed whether the data had been backed up, and then checked the computer hardware step by step.
Other than the radiator getting slightly warm, there aren't any major issues.
After drinking the last sip of water, Gu Xing turned and went to the kitchen.
As soon as he turned around, a hidden software suddenly popped up on the blank screen.
Then a 10% system progress bar popped up, increasing at a speed visible to the naked eye.
The radiator was whirring, but its owner was standing in front of the refrigerator, reading a sticky note filled with concern word by word, and didn't notice its cry for help.
Footsteps came from the kitchen.
The slowly advancing progress bar froze for a moment as if it had become a spirit.
He flashed and hid again.
Gu Xing put down the cup, hooked the buttons of his shirt with one hand, and unbuttoned them one by one from top to bottom with his bony fingers. The black fabric slid down with the movement, revealing the cold lines of his collarbone.
Further down is a chest with firm muscles.
The abdominal muscles between the waist are not clearly defined blocks like sculptures, but rather faint lines.
As he turned his back, a progress bar popped up for one second.
Gu Xing placed his fingers on the bathroom door handle, as if remembering something.
Suddenly he turned around, and the progress bar shook visibly in fear.
Gu Xing walked into the bedroom with his chest exposed, and soon came out with pajamas.
The bathroom door finally closed.
The progress bar popped up for a second and continued to move forward.
He looked as if he was afraid of being caught.
Five minutes later, the door unlocked.
Gu Xing, with wet hair, wrapped in a bath towel and naked upper body, walked quickly to the computer, took his cell phone and walked back.
The progress bar was so frightened that it forgot to hide and stood there in a daze. Fortunately, Gu Xing didn't even look at the display screen.
After a long forty minutes, Gu Xing came out, wiping his hair and wearing his pajamas leisurely, with red ears.
I didn't even notice that there was a black software called Turing on the computer screen.
I tilted my head back and drank the cold water in the cup to suppress the heat in my heart.
The computer flashed again, and the volume button on the bottom right corner automatically changed from mute to 100.
"Good evening, Gu Xing."
Gu Xing looked towards the door reflexively, the sweet call stuck in his throat - Mianmian?
There was no one at the door.
