The assistant director, proud and confident, patted his chest and said, "Director Xu, this is what I should do. After all, someone has to take over your position! I am worthy of it!"
Director Xu retracted his bared teeth and kicked the assistant director, yelling, "You son of a bitch, you're already eyeing my chair?!"
The assistant director covered his mouth, having inadvertently revealed his true feelings, and awkwardly fled.
Director Xu calmed himself down and sat back down in front of the monitor to stare at the screen, but he got even angrier.
In the scene, Lu Yanli stands out from the other guests who are drenched and disheveled. He strolls leisurely across the grassland, keeping a distance from the large, misplaced vats, as if he knows where Lu An is and is heading straight for his target.
Before the assistant director could give the order, Lu Yanli had already walked up to Lu An'an's large vat.
He lifted the lid of the tank, revealing Lu An'an's somewhat surprised face.
"Second Brother, you found me so quickly?"
Lu Yanli smiled gently and said meaningfully, "That's because you and your sister are of one mind, you know about sibling intuition, right?"
Lu An'an looked at Lu Yanli's smug expression with suspicion, and muttered to herself.
Did he cheat? How could my second brother, with his IQ, find me so quickly and easily?
Lu Yanli squinted and smiled, ruffling Lu An'an's hair, his voice laced with rage: "Little sister, are you making up stories about your second brother again?"
Lu An'an smiled ingratiatingly: "How could that be, Second Brother? I'm praising you."
Lu Yanli raised an eyebrow, seemingly skeptical: "Really?"
Lu An'an remained unfazed, her face beaming with a sincere smile: "Of course!"
Just as the brother and sister were putting on a heartwarming scene of "brotherly love and sisterly filial piety," Director Xu's furious and heart-wrenching roar suddenly rang out on the grassland.
"Lu An'an! I, Xu Zheng, will never forgive you!"
