Fu Zhiyan's mind went blank for a moment, as if the whole world had frozen in that instant. He asked incredulously, "You agreed?"
"Pfft—"
Lu An'an finally couldn't help but smile, her eyes crinkling with joy.
"Does that mean I don't need to agree?"
Fu Zhiyan immediately replied, "Yes!"
He excitedly took out the necklace, looking at Lu An'an helplessly, "An'an..."
Lu An'an tossed her hair aside and said with a smile, "Then please help me put it on."
Fu Zhiyan carefully and slowly wrapped his arm around Lu An'an's fair neck and gently fastened the tiny clasp.
Lu An'an looked down at the necklace on her chest, then turned to Fu Zhiyan, her eyes sparkling as she asked, "Does it look good?"
Fu Zhiyan's eyes reddened slightly at this moment. He gazed deeply at Lu An'an, nodded gently, and his voice was slightly hoarse due to the surge of emotion: "Beautiful."

The car slowly stopped in front of the Lu family's house. Lu An'an unbuckled her seatbelt, got out of the car, and her gaze met Fu Zhiyan's deep and gentle eyes inside. She waved awkwardly, her voice a little nervous: "Then I'll go in. Drive carefully. Good night."
Fu Zhiyan responded gently, "Okay, goodnight."
Lu An'an nodded hurriedly, then turned and ran into the Lu family's gate in a flash.

She gasped in surprise, her voice still trembling with shock. She quickly turned around and looked in the direction of the sound, only to see Lu Yanli and Lu Yubai squatting at the gate, looking at her with resentful expressions.
"Second Brother, Fourth Brother? What are you doing here?"
Lu An'an felt awkward, like she had been caught dating by her parents.
When Lu Yanli and Lu An'an noticed them, they slowly stood up and asked resentfully, "You agreed to be with him?"
Lu An'an blinked her big eyes, feigning ignorance: "Who? What did you agree to?"
Lu Yubai bluntly exposed: "That kid's smug grin just now was practically right in my face, he must have confessed!"
Lu An'an: "..."
Is this an exaggeration? I didn't see him smiling that enthusiastically.
Lu Yanli sneered inwardly.
Isn't that enough to make you swoon? That old bastard clearly saw him and Yu Bai just now, but he pretended not to see them. Isn't that blatant provocation?

Just then, Lu Yanli and Lu Yubai entered the room. Lu An'an was "held hostage" by them and made to sit on the sofa, with everyone's eyes fixed on her.
Lu An'an looked around, sighed softly, gave up the futile resistance, and gave up in an almost surrendering manner.
"Alright, alright, go ahead and ask."
Before she could finish speaking, a barrage of questions came flooding in, leaving Lu An'an overwhelmed. She quickly raised her hand and made a standard "meow" gesture.
