Chapter 178 Encirclement and Capture of the Gu Master

Jin Fangguo's eyelids twitched slightly, and he blurted out, "You think you can find it like this?"

Lu An'an nodded calmly: "The things produced by our sect are always top-notch. Let's hurry up and leave, or people will run away."

She urged the two still-shocked people onward, and the group headed to the scene of the incident.

Inside the car, Lu An'an's gaze kept glancing at the time; two hours had passed since Pei Sheng sent her the text message.

She frowned slightly, unsure of the meaning behind Pei Sheng's words. Was he planning to kidnap her again? Or was he actually at the scene of the incident?

Amidst her racing thoughts, she suddenly realized a oversight: she hadn't asked about the exact location of the so-called "incident site." So, she quietly asked Jin Fangguo beside her, "Grandpa Jin, where did the incident happen?"

Jin Fangguo replied in a deep voice: "At the airport, the one who died was a passenger who had just gotten off the plane."

Upon hearing this, Lu An'an's eyes narrowed sharply. She instantly understood Pei Sheng's true intention—he wanted to take her away!

She took a deep breath, fell silent, and let her thoughts churn within her chest.

Time seemed to stand still.

After a long while, Lu An'an took out her little red flag from her pocket again and handed it to Lu Xunran. Under Lu Xunran's worried and uneasy gaze, she smiled and tried her best to make her voice sound calm and undisturbed.

"Third Brother, I suddenly remembered that Fu Zhiyan told me last time that he wanted my little red flag and me to wear matching cufflinks. When you go back to the ward later, please give it to him for me."

Then, she turned to Jin Fangguo and said, "Grandpa Jin, that Gu Master is very dangerous. My third brother is here, and I'm afraid it will limit my abilities. Could you please take my third brother to the hospital first? If possible, could you also arrange for a few more people to protect my eldest brother and the others in the ward?"

Upon hearing this, Jin Fangguo agreed with the reasonableness of Lu An'an's words.

“Okay, then so be it. Take your third brother back to the hospital first, and I’ll have the people in the car behind go with him.”

Lu An'an smiled and nodded slightly. Then she turned to Lu Xunran and saw that he looked stunned and his eyes were full of panic. She joked, "What's wrong, Third Brother? You're not happy that I don't want you to go? You can't be unhappy about it. If you go, you'll hold your sister back."

Lu Xunran opened his mouth, about to say something, but was interrupted by Lu An'an: "By the way, Third Brother, you must remember to give the little red flag to Fu Zhiyan."

Lu Xunran could see her sister's determination; the little red flag in her palm was so tightly clenched that her knuckles turned white.

His unease surged like a tide, but he forced himself to remain calm and whispered to Lu An'an, "An'an, don't get hurt. Your brother will wait for you to come back."

Lu An'an smiled and nodded, then lowered her head, letting her falling hair cover her reddened eyes, and said nothing more.

Inside the car, the atmosphere suddenly became quiet and heavy.

Arriving at the hospital in silence, Lu Xunran got out of the car and lingered on Lu An'an for a long time. His deep voice, carrying a hint of sadness, softly said, "Little sister, your third brother is waiting for you to come home."

Lu An'an felt a slight sting in her nose, but she still tried to put on a bright smile and playfully turned her head away: "Okay, Third Brother, you go up now, we're leaving right away."

After saying that, she rolled up the car window, and under Lu Xunran's gaze, the convoy left the hospital.

Lu Xunran didn't get out of sight until he was completely out of sight before taking the elevator with a few people who were protecting them.

The moment Lu Xunran stepped into the ward, she almost couldn't wait to speak, shoving the little red flag into Fu Zhiyan's hand, her tone urgent: "Fu Zhiyan, hurry! An'an told me to make sure you get the little red flag. You're the one who can pinpoint her location. If she goes missing at the airport, only you can find her!"

A look of surprise flashed across Fu Zhiyan's face, which was then replaced by a deep expression, and an unyielding chill lingered around him.

Almost instinctively, he reached out, grabbed the phone, connected it to the little red flag, and fixed his gaze on the moving cursor.

A soft "ding-dong" broke the silence of the room.

The screen lit up, displaying a message that Lu An'an had just sent, brief yet full of profound meaning.

"Only you can find me, Fu Zhiyan, I'm waiting for you."

These few words caused Fu Zhiyan's unease, which he had been barely suppressing with reason, to surge like a tidal wave, and even his hands began to tremble slightly.

Just as he was still feeling unsettled, a sudden turn of events made his heart leap into his throat—the little red dot on the screen that represented Lu An'an's location disappeared without warning!

His pupils contracted sharply, ignoring the wound on his back, his only thought was to find Lu An'an as soon as possible.

Just as he took a step, a sharp pain assaulted his mind, and countless unfamiliar and fragmented memories suddenly flooded his mind.

After a long while, his eyes regained their clarity, and everything became clear. He finally understood the profound meaning behind Lu An'an's words, "Only you can find me."

"To the airport."

Without the slightest hesitation, he quickly grabbed his phone and hurriedly left the ward.

On the other side, Lu An'an, who had just arrived at the airport, was about to follow the burning talisman to find someone when she unexpectedly saw that all the police officers who had been guarding the airport, which was heavily cordoned off, had also been affected by the Gu spell and were in a daze.

Lu An'an's gaze met the Gu Master's amused eyes, her tone icy cold: "Are you so eager to die?"

The Gu Master's voice was sinister: "Miss Lu, if I die, you won't live either."

Lu An'an smiled disdainfully: "The last person who said that to me is probably overgrown with weeds by now, and I'm still alive and well."
