Bai Xuxu stared blankly at the familiar face opposite her, a look of disbelief, surprise, and tears flashing in her eyes. "A-Zhou?"
When Fu Linzhou heard that familiar term of endearment again, which he hadn't heard in a long time, his eyes gradually reddened. He tried to calm the turmoil in his heart, and when he spoke again, his voice was slightly choked, but even more firm and gentle: "Yes, I'm here."
Tears welled up in Bai Xuxu's eyes as she stared incredulously at the figure approaching her, until Fu Linzhou stood right in front of her, so close that they could feel each other's breath.
She reached out a trembling hand, her fingertips gently touching, then slowly caressing Fu Linzhou's face. The touch was so real that she couldn't help but murmur to herself, "Is this my imagination?"

Seeing this, Lu An'an and the others had no choice but to hide in the woods. Just as they were hiding, a man appeared from the archway. The light from the courtyard shone on the man's face, outlining his clear features.
The moment Fu Linzhou's gaze fell upon that face, it seemed as if he were suddenly frozen by ice. Then, his anger surged like an undercurrent, rising uncontrollably.
"It was him!"
Upon hearing this, Lu An'an's gossip-loving spirit began to burn fiercely.
"Who? Someone we know?"
Fu Zhiyan's aura suddenly turned cold, exuding a bone-chilling coldness. He said with a sharp look in his eyes, "Yes, it's my father's good friend, Zhou Fang."

Outside the woods, Zhou Fang slowly walked up to Bai Xuxu, his eyes filled with tenderness and concern, and whispered, "Why did you come here?"

As he spoke, Zhou slowed down and approached the woods. Seeing this, Jin Fangguo stroked the cat on his lap, gently placed it on the ground, and whispered, "Yiyi, you'd better put in some effort and don't expose us!"
Each one landed lightly, glanced at the crowd with a hint of disdain and arrogance, flicked its tail haughtily, and darted away nimbly.
Zhou Fang had just stepped one foot to the edge of the woods when Yi Yi pounced on him with a "meow," startling him and causing him to take a few steps back.
As if it had achieved its goal, Yi Yi meowed again and slowly walked to Bai Xuxu's feet, rubbing affectionately against her calf.
Bai Xuxu squatted down and patted Yi Yi's head, a smile playing on her lips: "No need to look anymore, Yi Yi is out."
Zhou Fang had no choice but to temporarily suppress his desire to explore the depths of the forest and turned back to Bai Xuxu's side.
Deep in the forest, everyone secretly breathed a sigh of relief.
Lu An'an's gaze swept over Fu Linzhou, a complex emotion flashing in her eyes, as if she wanted to say something but hesitated.
[This situation makes me feel like Uncle Fu is the other woman, sneaking off on a date while the wife is away, only to have her suddenly return and forcing him to hide in the woods.]
