Lu An'an simply shook her head slightly and said regretfully, "I was just giving you a chance to explain yourself, but it seems you couldn't seize it?"
Lu Rongyu was taken aback by his words. "What do you mean?"
"Tsk." Lu An'an parted her lips slightly and let out a soft sigh, tinged with impatience.
"Why do you always ask me what I mean? Isn't it obvious? Lin Ya Hui has already confessed that you conspired with her to drug my fourth brother. Aren't you going to confess?"
Lu Rongyu's heart felt as if it had been struck by a boulder, surging with waves of shock. She screamed, "Impossible! I had no idea they drugged me! Lin Ya Hui is lying!"
Lu An'an shrugged. "Believe it or not, you can ask Captain Qi for confirmation."
Qi Rang stood to the side, nodding slightly, his expression as cold and stern as ever, and uttered only one word: "Yes."
Lu Rongyu felt a sudden dizziness, and her body involuntarily slumped onto the stool. She couldn't understand why Lin Ya Hui would be so bold as to bite back when her son was in her hands.
Lu An'an noticed what she was thinking and interrupted her reverie: "Oh, by the way, Lin Ya Hui's youngest son is at the police station right now. Do you want to see him?"
Upon hearing this, Lu Rongyu's gaze suddenly sharpened. She abruptly turned her eyes to Lu An'an, hesitant to speak, but mindful of being in the police station, reason prevailed over impulse. She responded with a slightly wary and puzzled remark: "Her youngest son has nothing to do with me. Why should I look at him?"
Lu An'an raised an eyebrow with amusement.
