Chapter 88 The Mysterious Old Woman

A look of amazement flashed in Lu An'an's eyes.

This place is so beautiful, no wonder they chose to live here in seclusion. I wouldn't want to leave either.

The old woman chuckled softly, a warm smile hidden in the wrinkles at the corners of her eyes. Her An'an had always been very clever.

Lu An'an followed the old woman to another room. When she opened the door, a warm and clean atmosphere wafted out. On the bed, a thin but meticulously tidy old man lay peacefully.

Lu An'an's heart suddenly tightened, and she involuntarily turned to look at the old woman, "What's going on?"

The old woman's gaze was gentle and profound, lightly sweeping over her husband's peaceful face before turning to Lu An'an, her eyes filled with love and trust. "Girl, you'll see when you go and take a look."

This caused even greater ripples in Lu An'an's heart, and she asked in confusion, "What does this mean?"

The old woman didn't answer, but simply took Lu An'an's hand, patted it, and whispered, "Girl, why don't you talk to him?"

Lu An'an nodded in agreement, and after a long pause, she softly called out, "Grandpa? I'm Lu An'an."

A radiant smile gradually spread across the old woman's lips, her eyes reddened slightly, and she felt a sense of relief in her heart. They had finally waited for their An'an to return.
