At the ancestral hall, Lu Wenjing looked at the text message his sister had sent again, his lips twitched, and while replying, he said helplessly, "My sister's really addicted to this."
Lu Yanli leaned closer, his gaze sweeping over the few lines of text on the screen. He paused, then abruptly turned his head, staring blankly at Fu Zhiyan without uttering a word.
Fu Zhiyan looked completely bewildered. He glanced at the phone in Lu Wenjing's hand, and remembering that Lu Wenjing had mentioned An'an earlier, his eyes lit up, and the corners of his mouth unconsciously turned up: "Looking for me?"
Lu Wenjing reluctantly handed the phone to Fu Zhiyan, "An'an said she wants you to pick her up."
Fu Zhiyan took the phone and saw the text message: "Have President Fu send the money over. None of you are allowed to follow, otherwise... Reply upon receipt to unsubscribe via TD." He chuckled softly.
After returning the phone to Lu Wenjing, he nodded slightly with a happy expression: "Then I'll go pick up An'an. We'll meet at the Fu family's private jet."
Lu Wenjing stared at the smile on Fu Zhiyan's face and felt it was irritating. He couldn't help but remind her, "Zhiyan, do you know that An'an has only just turned 18 and just finished the college entrance examination?"
Fu Zhiyan nodded, a faint smile playing on his lips. "I know, it's the perfect age to start dating, isn't it, big brother?"
Lu Wenjing's expression suddenly turned serious, his tone revealing an undeniable earnestness: "Fu Zhiyan, this is not a joke."
Fu Zhiyan's expression turned solemn, his gaze sincere and firm: "I never joke about such things."
Lu Wenjing scrutinized Fu Zhiyan, remaining silent for a long time.
Lu Yanli, standing to the side, glared at Fu Zhiyan with eyes full of hostility and dissatisfaction. "I disagree!"
Upon hearing this, Fu Zhiyan simply raised one eyebrow and gently adjusted the collar of his crisp suit. "I'll go pick up An'an."
After saying that, he didn't say anything more, turned around and left first.
"Hey?!"
Seeing this, Lu Yanli's anger intensified, his fingers trembling with rage. "Big brother, did you see that? Wasn't this kid provoking me just now? I don't agree to this!"
Lu Wenjing held down his excited younger brother and said helplessly, "Why are you in such a hurry? Does your sister look like she's finally figured things out? Let that kid jump around for a bit, it's good for him to suffer some setbacks."

An hour later, a deep engine sound came from afar, and then two Rolls-Royces stopped at the gate.
A tall, well-dressed man stepped out of the first car.
Lu An'an's eyes lit up as she looked at the man, and she waved excitedly, "Fu Zhiyan, over here!"
Fu Zhiyan also spotted Lu An'an immediately. His eyes filled with a gentle smile, and he quickened his pace as he walked straight toward the three people.
Standing before Grandpa Lu and Grandma Lu, Fu Zhiyan humbly bowed slightly to them, speaking respectfully: "Grandpa Lu, Grandma Lu, it's been a long time."
Madam Lu's gaze swept lightly over Fu Zhiyan, and a gentle smile appeared on her lips: "Zhiyan, it has indeed been a long time. Back then you were just a little radish head, and now you have grown into such a tall and handsome man."
Fu Zhiyan smiled modestly yet gracefully, and replied in a gentle, warm voice, "Grandma Lu, you flatter me."
Grandpa Lu, standing to the side, scrutinized Fu Zhiyan from head to toe with a critical eye, and asked with a forced smile, "Zhiyan, how old are you this year?"
Fu Zhiyan replied humbly, "Grandpa Lu, I'm 24."
Grandpa Lu squinted and asked again, "You're 24, have you found a girlfriend yet?"
Fu Zhiyan's gaze swept over Lu An'an, who was standing quietly to the side, and he replied meekly, "Grandpa Lu, I don't have a girlfriend yet."
Grandpa Lu feigned surprise as he looked at Fu Zhiyan: "Oh my, you're already 24 and still no girlfriend? Is it because you can't find one?"
Fu Zhiyan: "..."
Was he too obvious? The old man was already so hostile when he had just seen him?
Looking at Fu Zhiyan's complicated expression, which seemed to want to say something but couldn't, Lu An'an's shoulders trembled as she tried to suppress her laughter.

Fu Zhiyan glanced helplessly at Lu An'an. He wanted the old man to urge him to get married, but the old man wasn't actually urging him to get married.

Fu Zhiyan relaxed his shoulders, stepped forward, and gently and steadily helped the old man Lu who was trying to get up, saying in a gentle voice, "Grandpa Lu, let me help you."
Reluctantly, Old Master Lu let Fu Zhiyan help him up. His gaze went past Fu Zhiyan's shoulder and landed on Lu An'an and Old Madam Lu, who were watching them from a distance. He said in a voice that only the two of them could hear, "Don't think that I'll approve of you just because you're like this. My An'an is still very young!"
Fu Zhiyan's smile became even warmer: "I will let Grandpa see my true feelings."
Old Master Lu's eyes widened suddenly, "Who's your grandfather!"
Fu Zhiyan smiled without saying a word, gently helping Old Master Lu into the car and settling him in. Then she turned around and took Old Madam Lu from Lu An'an's arms, settling her in just as carefully.
