Chapter 19: It's so dangerous, but you still want to kill her?

Luo Xifeng stopped and said, "Let's take a break first."

Chu Yangyang's eyes lit up. Isn't this a good opportunity? It's here again.

She grabbed Xiao Renyu's sleeve and suggested, "This bridge looks scary, and you're so frail, Sister Renyu. Why don't you let Lord Luo help you across?"

Xiao Renyu lowered her head in shame, her peach blossom eyes secretly looking at Luo Xifeng.

Seeing him looking straight ahead calmly and not raising any objection to Chu Yangyang's proposal, her heart was pounding so fast that she could hardly suppress the sound.

Out of her daughter's modesty, Xiao Renyu did not extend her hand.

Luo Xifeng, the straight guy, also stood there motionless.

The two of them just stood there in an awkward stalemate.

Chu Yangyang pursed her lips and shook her head. This family couldn't exist without her.

She held Xiao Renyu's hand affectionately and hooked her arm in Luo Xifeng's arm.

Luo Xifeng frowned slightly and instinctively wanted to hide.

But Chu Yangyang pulled her over and said, "Hook it like this, Sister Renyu won't fall."

This time Luo Xifeng did not hide, but just narrowed his eyes slightly. His deep eyes seemed to see through Chu Yangyang. What tricks was she trying to play?

Chu Yangyang ignored his inquiring gaze and urged, "Hurry up and leave so that we can see Feilu Waterfall earlier today."

The two of them walked hand in hand, turned around and walked forward.

Chu Yangyang followed closely behind.

However, Chu Yangyang regretted it as soon as she stepped onto Tengqiao.

This isn't walking on a vine bridge, it's clearly an acrobatic performance!

The wind blew from the cliff, causing the vine bridge to sway from side to side.

Chu Yangyang held the ropes on both sides tightly. In a trance, she caught a glimpse of the swirling clouds under her feet.

The original owner's remaining fear of heights instantly swept through his body, his stomach twitched violently, and he almost vomited acid.

Luo Xifeng noticed something strange behind him.

He turned his head to look at Chu Yangyang, then turned around and quickened his pace to send Xiao Renyu to the other side.

Chu Yangyang felt dizzy again, and she only felt that black screens flashed in front of her eyes from time to time.

Just when her legs were about to collapse, someone suddenly hugged her and she fell into an embrace filled with the scent of medicine.

The shaking of the vine bridge also decreased.

Chu Yangyang raised her eyes and saw a gentle and calm handsome face.

"Luo Xifeng, I feel dizzy."

She instinctively clasped Luo Xifeng's neck with both hands.

Luo Xifeng said succinctly, "Go over first."

Just as Luo Xifeng took a step forward, the vines under his feet suddenly broke with a "snap".

The world was spinning, and she was suddenly struck by a strong feeling of being suspended in the air. She closed her eyes tightly and instinctively wrapped her arms around Luo Xifeng's waist.

Luo Xifeng held the vines tightly with both hands, and the two were thrown to the edge of the cliff in an instant.

He tilted his body slightly, making his back the bottom, and slammed hard onto the rocks on the side of the cliff.

"Hmm."

Luo Xifeng groaned as the two of them were hanging on the edge of a cliff.

The sudden impact caused Chu Yangyang to fall backwards due to exhaustion, and the feeling of being suspended in the air made her instinctively cling to Luo Xifeng.

The rough vines scratched her back, and the dull pain of the boy's chest squeezing her ribcage reminded her how dangerous the moment was.

"You have mastered the art of seduction to perfection. You even pretend to want to bring me together with Miss Xiao." Luo Xifeng sneered, and the thumb that was pinching her waist suddenly pressed against her vital point.

That was the place where the original owner had pierced Luo Xifeng with a silver needle. Chu Yangyang instantly recalled the description in the original book. As long as she applied a little force, she would collapse like a rag doll and fall off the cliff.

Damn it, they are just grasshoppers on the same vine, why is he still thinking of killing her?

The dizziness from fear of heights, the fear of falling, and the murderous King of Hell in front of me.

She thought about how she had been living in fear in recent days, with her nerves on edge all the time.

Chu Yangyang suddenly felt an overwhelming sense of grievance in her heart.

Tears immediately burst out like a leaking waterfall, covering his face.

She cried and sobbed, "Luo Xifeng, why do you always want to kill me? I said I know I was wrong! Why don't you give me a chance to make a new beginning?"

Luo Xifeng was stunned for a moment, and the murderous aura gradually faded away unconsciously.

Her tearful eyes were so close to him that he actually felt her sincerity and knew she was wrong.

But the more Chu Yangyang spoke, the more aggrieved she felt, and the louder she cried.

She wanted to cry out all the fear and grievances she had suffered since she entered the book.

What sin had she committed to end up in this crappy book, being threatened all day long, and counting down the days she had left to live every morning when she woke up.

Now, with multiple death threats piled up, she is about to have a mental breakdown.

"Luo Xifeng, please kill me! I don't want to live anymore, but I can't do it myself. Kill me, kill me, kill me!"

Chu Yangyang decided to risk it all. Living in fear all day long, she might as well just die.

She really didn't fear death and started shaking from side to side and throwing a tantrum, like a three-year-old child who couldn't get any candy.

Luo Xifeng tightened his grip on the cane, his voice cold, "If you move again, I'll push you down immediately!"

As soon as the words fell, Chu Yangyang froze.

Tears rolled down the corners of my eyes, stubbornly refusing to fall.

Never mind, she's still afraid of death.

Cold sweat soaked her inner clothes, and the howling cliff wind cut her cheeks. Luo Xifeng was now the only straw that could save her.

Chu Yangyang pressed her hot cheek against his neck and held him tighter with both hands, "Luo Xifeng, please don't let go."

The ending tone had just the right tremor, and she was like a kitten shivering in the wind and rain.

She could clearly feel Luo Xifeng's muscles tense up, and his Adam's apple rolled heavily against her lips.

The belt around the waist had untied at some point, and the crimson shirt fluttered like butterfly wings over the abyss.

Chu Yangyang was still afraid. She hooked her calves around his knees and clung to him like a vine. "Now... what should I do?"

Luo Xifeng was silent for a moment, then whispered, "Close your eyes."

Then he suddenly grabbed her by the scruff of the neck, his jade-like face close at hand.

Chu Yangyang looked into his dark eyes, where emotions that she could not understand surged.

The vines wrapped around his wrists cracked under the weight, and gravel fell into the abyss.

"Hold on tight!" Xiao Renyu's crying voice came from above.

The broken vine bridge shook violently in an instant, and Chu Yangyang felt her body falling rapidly, but in the next second, she was pulled back into Luo Xifeng's arms by her belt.

As the world spun, the boy's blood-stained fingertips brushed against the corner of her eye, crushing the tear that was about to fall on his fingertips.

Fortunately, he didn't let go.

"Thank you." She tilted her head back and smiled with her eyes curved, but tears couldn't stop flowing down.

She survived again.

The golden hairpin in her hair had already fallen to who knows where, and the scattered black hair was entangled with his, rustling in the strong wind.
