Chapter 30 I Can Save You
Luo Xifeng felt his eyes go dark and he almost fainted again. He could only support himself on the edge of the bed with his elbows.
Seeing this, Chu Yangyang didn't care about the blood on her hands, picked up the bowl and forced the medicine into Luo Xifeng's mouth.
Luo Xifeng suddenly clutched the fabric around his chest.
After about five breaths, Luo Xifeng regained consciousness unconsciously and was able to sit up by himself.
The stuffy pain in his chest gradually faded away. Luo Xifeng pulled his clothes open a little more. The spider-web-like blue lines on his skin disappeared like the tide, and his pale lips gradually turned bloody.
He stared at her palm, which was still bleeding, and suddenly pulled her wrist away. His voice was as cold as winter ice, "What kind of poison did you put in the medicine?"
Chu Yangyang staggered as he pulled her. "This is the medicine prescribed by Doctor Xia, and Bai Shi brewed it himself. How could I add poison?"
"You're lying!" Luo Xifeng suddenly raised his voice, "I clearly felt..."
He hesitated to speak.
He felt particularly comfortable, and the toxins and pain gradually dissipated.
He held her small hand tightly, "Tell me, what kind of poison was it? Why did my body get attacked by the poison and suppress my original toxicity?"
This damn woman dared to poison him again. Sure enough, he hesitated for a moment, thinking that this woman had a change of heart, but he didn't expect that she had no conscience at all.
Everything that happened before was just superb acting.
However, he had to force her to tell him what poison she had given him. No poison could suppress the toxins in his body so quickly and effectively.
Chu Yangyang's wrists were scarlet from his grip. Her eyelashes trembled as she looked up. "If I wanted to hurt you, I should have done it earlier when you were unconscious."
Luo Xifeng stroked the winding blood line on her palm with his fingertips and suddenly chuckled.
A silver needle slipped out from his sleeve, and the cold tip of the needle moved along the blue vein on the inside of her wrist, finally stopping at the beating pulse. "My princess, do you know how to convince others with the words of a vicious person?"
Chu Yangyang shrank her head slightly. It was this terrifying murderous aura again. It seemed like the King of Hell had possessed her again.
He leaned closer to her bleeding palm, the ends of his hair falling on her collarbone. "This blood is mixed with Angelica dahurica and Panax notoginseng, which are good medicines for stopping bleeding. The princess is very considerate in poisoning you now."
"That was accidentally stained when I was feeding you medicine yesterday..." Chu Yangyang wanted to cry. She had no idea where the Angelica dahurica and Panax notoginseng came from.
"Shhh."
He suddenly pressed his bloody fingertips to her lips, and the smell of rust spread between their breaths. "Isn't it the princess's hobby to add some seasoning to the medicinal soup? Three months ago it was heartbreak grass, and a month ago it was poison feathers."
The silver needle gently pierced the corner of her lip, and the blood that oozed out was wiped away by his fingertips. "This time the poison is quite elegant, and it even has the fragrance of lotus?"
Chu Yangyang was trapped in the corner of the bed by him, her black hair scattered on the golden pillow was entangled with his snow-white clothes.
What is Lianxiang? She has no idea.
Her lips trembled. "How can you believe that I didn't poison you?"
"Heh." He sneered.
The silver needle in his hand did not stop moving, but slowly moved to her carotid artery.
There was a slight sting in her neck, but it was not as terrifying as the dark tide that suddenly surged in his eyes.
Chu Yangyang's scalp was numb, and she even spoke with tears in her voice, "Luo Xifeng, just kill me. I said I didn't poison anyone, so why are you always so aggressive?"
As she spoke, Chu Yangyang tried hard to squeeze out two tears, but the crystal tears stubbornly refused to fall in the corners of her eyes.
Luo Xifeng was startled for a moment, then immediately regained his indifference. His warm breath brushed against her earlobe, but his words were as cold as ice. "It's a pity that I've tasted more poison than the pearl hairpins in your hair. Princess, there's no need to be so hypocritical. I find it extremely hypocritical."
He would not wrong her.
He was clearly getting better, apparently the result of being suppressed by some kind of toxic poison attack.
He hadn't eaten anything except the medicine she handed him.
The silver needle on the fingertip penetrated a little deeper, and Chu Yangyang felt the pain became even worse.
This time she was really anxious and cried, "Luo Xifeng, are you sick? I said I didn't poison you, why won't you let me go?"
As if he really felt her anxiety, Luo Xifeng's silver needle retreated a little.
In an instant, Chu Yangyang covered Luo Xifeng's hand with her hand, and the blood from her palm filled his mouth.
When he was caught off guard, Chu Yangyang pushed him away and jumped three steps away from him.
Luo Xifeng felt a hint of fishy taste and a faint lotus fragrance on the tip of his tongue.
It seemed that this smell did not come from the contaminated medicinal smell.
But it’s the taste of this blood.
Luo Xifeng pursed his lips, and more blood flowed into his mouth. Within three breaths, he felt his mind became much clearer, and his weak limbs were now full of strength.
Could it be...
Luo Xifeng rushed over and grabbed Chu Yangyang's hand.
Chu Yangyang wanted to escape again, but was held by Luo Xifeng.
Luo Xifeng pinched her blood-stained fingertips and looked at them carefully under the candlelight.
Drops of blood rolled down Su Bai's fingertips and happened to drip into the remaining medicine bowl on the desk, causing strange ripples in the brown medicine.
"My princess, do you know what it means to fight poison with poison?" He suddenly pressed her injured palm on the small sandalwood table and used a silver needle to pry open the clotted blood.
Chu Yangyang gasped in pain, but saw him dip a drop of fresh blood and smear it on the edge of the silver spoon. The scar on his collarbone was shockingly bright in the candlelight.
She struggled to pull her hand away, "Luo Xifeng, what are you crazy about!"
Luo Xifeng suddenly held her bleeding fingertip in his mouth and swept his soft tongue across the wound.
Chu Yangyang felt a shudder running down his spine, and saw his Adam's apple rolling, and his pale cheeks actually showed a faint color.
When he let go of her, his lips were as red as rouge. He rubbed the red marks on her wrist with his fingertips and chuckled, "So the princess is the medicine."
The silver needle pressed against the throbbing vein in her neck. "How could such a rare treasure be embedded in such a vicious heart?"
Chu Yangyang was shocked by the dark light in his eyes. She caught a glimpse of blood on the side of her neck in the bronze mirror. The edge of the scarlet blood was actually tinged with faint gold threads.
Chu Yangyang understood. Perhaps her palm was cut by a porcelain shard when she fell to the ground, and the blood from her palm flowed into the medicine bowl, and Luo Xifeng drank the medicine again.
So Luo Xifeng was detoxified?
She looked at the blood on her palm, but could not remember this plot in the original book.
Chu Yangyang stared at the golden bloodstains in the mirror.
After a moment, she raised her eyes and looked at Luo Xifeng, "Since you know my blood is your antidote, how about we make a deal?"
She placed her bleeding fingertips two inches above his lips and said, "If I give you three drops of blood every day..."
"No need." Luo Xifeng suddenly interrupted her, "I won't let you control me."
Chu Yangyang was ashamed. Could it be that he thought she wanted to exchange his body?
No wonder, the original owner was a sex-hungry maniac. She forced Luo Xifeng to marry her just for his beautiful appearance.
"You think too much. I don't want your people."
Chu Yangyang pulled back her bleeding hand and covered the wound with a towel.
Luo Xifeng narrowed his eyes and looked at her inquiringly. If it wasn't for him, what else did this crazy princess want?
