Chapter 49 The Secret That Can Save Life
Luo Xifeng pressed his knees against her kicking legs, and the torn collar of his clothes slid off her shoulders with her heavy breathing.
Chu Yangyang's nails were soaked with blood as she scratched his back, but he seemed not to feel the pain and pinched her waist to hold her down tightly.
He bit her earlobe and sneered, his wet hair brushing against the purple finger marks on her neck. "When your father massacred my entire family, he didn't even spare the babies in their cradles! How can this little humiliation you suffer now wash away the injustice of my Luo family!"
Chu Yangyang was about to speak when a furious kiss crushed all her arguments, and the smell of blood spread between their entangled lips and teeth.
She arched her body and bumped into his chest. He groaned and grabbed her loose long hair.
Chu Yangyang felt pain. She had never suffered such humiliation before, so she struggled even more, and he held her tighter.
This bastard thing.
Since you want to do this, I will help you.
Lightning outside the window split his scarlet eyes. Chu Yangyang suddenly stopped struggling, and her bloody fingertips touched his heart. The tip of her tongue in her mouth actually took the initiative to entangle his domineering lips. The fishy and sweet collision between the two was unexpectedly lingering.
Luo Xifeng's palm froze at her waist, and the heavy rain mixed with the fragrance of broken medicine filled her nose.
Chu Yangyang reached out and grabbed the back of his neck, deepening the kiss.
Luo Xifeng's back straightened instantly, and the gasp that escaped from his throat was mixed with astonishment. This was clearly the strength that only the evil woman who had dragged him into the tent could have.
Chu Yangyang clearly felt that his shackles on her had loosened, and she chuckled in her heart.
For her, it is absolutely a good thing to have a handsome guy come to practice kissing.
Her bloodstained lips brushed across his trembling Adam's apple, and her palm rested on his heart. "Lord Luo, are you so anxious to let me have my wish?"
Her fingers circled his chest. "In that case, let's get on with it."
After she finished speaking, she suddenly wrapped one leg around his waist and moved her lips upwards again.
Luo Xifeng suddenly propped himself up.
Lightning flashed outside the window, illuminating his pale face. His scarlet eyes were now filled with disgust. "As expected, you're still that shameless lunatic."
He grabbed his outer robe and threw it on her half-naked shoulders. The corner of his robe hit her face with such force that she felt as if she was being whipped.
Luo Xifeng stood up, his body suddenly filled with murderous intent, and the gloom in his eyes burst out without any obstruction.
Chu Yangyang's heart trembled. She wrapped her dress tightly around her legs, rushed to the iron gate, and slammed it hard, "Help! Is there anyone outside?"
Luo Xifeng held the dagger in his hand and sneered, "Here, even if you scream your throat out, no one will come to save you."
The knife flashed like lightning, he flashed over, and the sharp blade slashed towards her throat. Chu Yangyang quickly turned over and rolled to the other side, which was almost the fastest speed she could run.
"Luo Xifeng, calm down. Can't we talk? Tell me what happened to you!"
Chu Yangyang's heart was beating like thunder. She didn't want to die like this.
Luo Xifeng did not answer, but just kept a gloomy expression, as if a violent storm was about to rage in front of him.
Miao Yun woke up to the sound of crying for help and saw the situation clearly at a glance.
She struggled and rushed over to stop him, "Lord Luo, don't even think about hurting the princess!"
Luo Xifeng curled the corner of his mouth and shook off Miao Yun who was rushing towards him with his backhand.
The thin maid bumped into the copper buckle of the medicine cabinet, and the back of her head broke the herbs in the medicine jar, leaving blood. Miao Yun suddenly fainted.
"Luo Xifeng, why did you hurt her?" Chu Yangyang grabbed the pestle and smashed it at him. She was furious. "It was me who forced you to marry me, it was me who humiliated you, and it was the Chu family who had the grudge against you. It has nothing to do with anyone else!"
Luo Xifeng crushed the porcelain vase that rolled to her feet with one foot, and the broken pieces mixed with rainwater splashed onto her skirt. "Do the Chu family have the right to talk about innocence?"
He snorted coldly and stabbed her again with the knife, this time piercing her sleeve and cutting her hair ribbon with the tip of the knife.
"You all in the Chu family deserve to die!"
Chu Yangyang turned around and took the opportunity to grab the medicine furnace on the table and smashed it at him again. She screamed, "Look at what you look like now! How is it different from the butcher you hate!"
Luo Xifeng's pupils suddenly contracted, and the blade stopped in mid-air.
He stared at Chu Yangyang and suddenly grabbed her waving hand, "That was also forced by you Chu family!"
Chu Yangyang blurted out, "If you kill me, you won't be able to detoxify, and you will die with me."
The corners of Luo Xifeng's eyes were red, and his blood-red pupils were emitting a fearless light. He sneered, "To avenge my hatred, I will die..."
"Why not!"
Heavy rain seeped through the broken window cracks, and a knife blade flashed, hanging half an inch above Chu Yangyang's heart.
She stared at Luo Xifeng's scarlet eyes, then suddenly closed them and shouted, "Your sister is not dead! I know where she is!!"
Luo Xifeng's wrist trembled violently.
Chu Yangyang did not feel the pain of the blade cutting her. She slowly opened one eye and saw Luo Xifeng's expression of astonishment.
Sparks flew from the copper furnace, and the tip of the knife fell to the ground with a clang.
Luo Xifeng grabbed her neck and pressed her against the damp brick wall. "If you dare to lie to me, I will make you experience all 37 tortures of the Ministry of Punishment."
Chu Yangyang took a deep breath, her bloodstained lips curled up, "Don't worry, I cherish my life very much."
The sound of rain gradually subsided, and the candlelight emitted sporadic sparks in the humid air.
Luo Xifeng clasped her throat with his white knuckles, and a broken gasp escaped from his Adam's apple. "Where is my sister... now?"
Chu Yangyang coughed repeatedly as she was pinched, "Let go of your hand first."
Luo Xifeng snorted and whispered, "Hurry up and tell me."
"I remember that the person who adopted your sister was a merchant in Luoyang, and I think his surname was Han." She tried hard to recall the details, but couldn't remember clearly.
Luo Xifeng frowned, "Han family?"
His eyes suddenly lit up and he raised his voice, "Are you talking about the Han's Trading Company in Luoyang? They are the largest imperial merchant in Luoyang, dealing in silk, rice, grain, salt, and iron."
Chu Yangyang blinked, "It seems to be this merchant. I have the impression that the family your sister works for is very wealthy."
She clearly remembered the rainy night in the original book when Han's stepmother found a baby girl with a high fever and unconsciousness by the moat.
The baby girl was the youngest daughter of the Luo family who was rescued from the tiger's mouth by someone at the risk of his life.
Luo Xifeng's pupils contracted violently, and the force that was holding her loosened by a little.
Chu Yangyang tilted her head back against the icy rain seeping through the cracks in the brick wall. Her neck was burned red by his fingertips as she recalled the contents of the original book.
The fact that Luo Xifeng had a younger sister was discovered accidentally by the heroine Xiao Renyu, and later became an important event that won Luo Xifeng's favor.
Now I can only use it to save my life.
"How can I know whether what you said is true or not?" Although he ignited the light of hope, he was still afraid that this light would be just a bubble.
"Doesn't your sister have a maple leaf birthmark on her left shoulder?" She took the opportunity to break free a little and caught a glimpse of his suddenly stiff back.
It seems she remembered correctly.
Luo Xifeng pinched her jaw and asked, "Since you already knew about this, why are you telling me now?"
The blade had touched her collarbone again, and this time he trembled so much that he cut his thumb.
Chu Yangyang swallowed the bloody smell in her throat.
The brutal scene of the original owner being torn into pieces by Luo Xifeng surged in her memory. She closed her eyes and said, "Because I'm afraid of death."
Truths mixed with lies poured out, "I've done so many things to let you down, I have to hide a big trick to make a deal with you."
Luo Xifeng let go of his hand and took two steps back. The candlelight pulled his shadow into a twisted ghost.
"What do you want in exchange?"
"My life..."
