Chapter 467 Wen Zhixia x Shen Jiachen (Thirty-nine)
The two moved the chairs back to the coffee shop, and the rain outside started falling on time.
Wen Zhixia stood at the door of the store, looking at the rain outside that was like a waterfall. At this time, it would probably not stop until she got off work.
Shen Jiachen was also standing at the door of the store, looking at the rain with her, and said with emotion: "I didn't expect to see such heavy rain at the end of October."

Wen Zhixia ignored him and went to the kitchen to finish the work. It was raining so heavily that no one would come.
While she was cleaning, Shen Jiachen quietly helped her put the chairs and stools in place. Wen Zhixia looked at him, and he used the lame excuse he had just given her to brush her off.
But with someone’s help, it was indeed much faster and everything was cleaned up before 10 o’clock.
Wen Zhixia packed up Shen Jiachen's strawberry cake and said, "Senior, you really should go back."
The rain was still pouring outside. Shen Jiachen pursed his lips, but Wen Zhixia seemed to know what he was thinking and put her umbrella next to the cake: "You can hold my umbrella and leave. I'll hold the spare umbrella in the store later."
Shen Jiachen's eyes fell on her umbrella, and he knew that he really had no reason to stay. He hummed softly, reached out and picked up the umbrella and cake: "Then... I'm leaving."
Wen Zhixia nodded: "Bye."

Not long after Shen Jiachen left, it was already ten o'clock. Wen Zhixia turned off all the lights, picked up the spare umbrella in the store and walked out of the store.
The electronic rolling door slowly moved down. Wen Zhixia looked at the door and saw it was tightly attached to the ground before she turned around, lowered her head and opened the umbrella in her hand.
But before she could open her eyes, a person stood in front of her. She didn't see the person's face, but she knew who it was by looking at his clothes.
She raised her head, looked at Shen Jiachen and asked, "Why are you back again? Did you drop something?"
Shen Jiachen stood in the rain holding an umbrella. He shook his head and said, "It's late. It's not safe for you to take a taxi alone."
Wen Zhixia looked at him, and Shen Jiachen also stared into her eyes and continued, "You take a taxi, and I'll drive behind you. I'll go back after you enter the school."
This was the best of both worlds solution that Shen Jiachen had just come up with. If he said he would drive Wen Zhixia back to school, he felt that the destination was too cold. But it was raining so hard and it was so late, he was worried about letting Wen Zhixia take a taxi back to school alone. What's more, what if she couldn't get a taxi?
So after thinking it over, he came down again.
"You don't have to do this." Wen Zhixia looked up at him and said, "Before I met you, I also took a taxi and went back to school alone."
"You said it all, that was before you met me." Shen Jiachen smiled: "After you met me, I didn't want you to take a taxi back to school alone."
He paused, then said seriously: "You can treat me as air, a transparent person, don't feel pressured, these are all what I am willing to do."
The heavy rain fell on the umbrella with a dull sound, and the eyes of the person under the umbrella were bright, like shining stars in the dark night.
"You..." Wen Zhixia wanted to say something, but didn't know what to say.
Shen Jiachen didn't urge her, but just smiled.
Ever since she met him, Wen Zhixia felt that the corners of his mouth had never dropped.
She looked at the rain, took out her cell phone and tried to hail a taxi, but found that there were more than 200 people lined up in front of her and it would take more than an hour to get a taxi.

Wen Zhixia lowered her eyes and glanced at the umbrella in her hand. In the end, she didn't know what she was thinking, so she didn't open it and walked into the rain with Shen Jiachen.
She is alone on weekdays.
