Her head ached and she felt dizzy. She barely opened her eyes and saw only darkness. All she could hear was the dripping sound of water and the creaking of falling wood.

In this book, she's the villain who drives the female lead's unrequited love to become a villain—yes, it's the fourth prince, Xu You. She also tries to take advantage of the fifth prince, the male lead, thus completely offending the female lead! Her villainous character is beyond redemption!!
As the story unfolds, she has now led Xu You down the path of darkness, the reason being that the little boss did something indescribable with the white moonlight.
The white moonlight accidentally killed the boss, and she just happened to have transmigrated into the body of the original owner and had a brief affair with the white moonlight.
The reason the "white moonlight" (the male lead's romantic interest) hasn't completely turned evil is because he doesn't know the female lead has been reborn. Ugh! This melodramatic, wish-fulfillment novel is just making fun of her! Surviving to the end...it's going to be so hard...
At this point, the only solution is to marry the white moonlight when the empress bestows a marriage upon him, and then bring the white moonlight and the female lead together in exchange for her dog's life.
That said, isn't the barrier to entry for time travel a bit too low these days? She hasn't even touched the answer sheet yet!!!
