Chapter 132 Her Guardian Huo Lin

Upon entering the villa, Xun Ting eagerly got off the man and stood aside.

The man noticed all her little actions and couldn't help but smile. "So afraid of dogs?"

"It's alright, just so-so." Xun Ting looked away, her expression genuinely indifferent, but inwardly she was devastated; her fear of dogs was ingrained in her very being!

She felt that it was very difficult for her to overcome this.

She found it even more terrifying when it came to animals as large as the villain's.

Huo Lin walked a few steps to the sofa and sat down, his long, powerful legs straight. He glanced at her casually and said, "Why don't you use the card?"

"What card?" Xun Ting frowned deeply. This man only had a black card with her.

Is he implying that she has never spent any money?

"Um."

"I...I didn't need to buy anything, so it's just been sitting there unused."

"No need to save money for me." Huo Lin looked down at the ground thoughtfully. Was it that he really didn't want to buy anything, or that he didn't want to use his money?

A smile tugged at the corner of his lips. The little liar had lied too many times; he could no longer fool him.

Even though they've already registered their marriage, she still doesn't plan to use his card.

"Don't worry, Mr. Huo, I'll buy whatever I like." Xun Ting answered impatiently, but she sensed a hint of displeasure in the man's eyes.

"Um."

The man tapped his long, slender fingers slowly on the side, "Your grades have slipped."

"Mr. Huo, how did you know?" She stared wide-eyed, not remembering telling the man.

Besides, she had already passed her exam.

"The homeroom teacher is calling."

"???"

"Now, I am your guardian." Huo Lin's gaze fell on her with an ambiguous meaning.

"Pfft..." Xun Ting was both laughing and crying at the same time. So this time, the homeroom teacher thought that she was not motivated and was not studying hard, so he called her "parents".

Huo Lin suddenly bent down and took out a stick from under the sofa. It was as thick as a broom head and looked very sturdy.

But isn't it inappropriate to carry a stick in this situation?

The man tested the sturdiness of the stick in his hand, then looked up calmly and said, "Bring the exam paper over."

How could she possibly keep that thing...?

It was already in the trash can. Xun Ting suddenly felt a chill run down her spine. Having a guardian didn't feel good either. Could that stick have been used to hit her?

She lowered her head and said weakly, "I threw it away."

"You did so badly on the test, and you still dare to throw the test paper?" The man laughed in anger at her words and slammed a stick on the table.

“Peng”.

Holy crap... that force looks painful.

Xun Ting immediately cowered, inwardly cursing, "The villains are inhuman! They're always unleashing dogs or wielding sticks. My darling~ Don't worry, I...I...I promise I'll do well on the next test."

How can you do well on a test if you're always sleeping in class?

"You believe me, I really can do well on the exam." Xun Ting truly regretted it.

If she had known the villain was going to pull out a stick, she would have definitely fought off her sleepiness and finished all the questions. That way, she wouldn't have failed all her subjects because of her obsessive-compulsive disorder.

"Bring the book over." Huo Lin said sullenly. The little girl didn't understand the importance of studying. He couldn't let her have her way. She was about to graduate and wasn't studying properly.

Even if she doesn't want to do anything in the future, it's okay, but she needs to know how.

"...I didn't bring it." Xun Ting lowered her head even further like an ostrich, her tone even more timid.

She's the kind of person who loses her exam paper as soon as it's handed out, so how could she possibly bring a book?
