Xun Ting opened her eyes and looked at the man beside her. The more cruel his words seemed to be, the more she felt sorry for him.
So what if she can't walk? She didn't care at all. Xun Ting said firmly, "If you don't agree to the divorce, I won't give you back the supplementary card."
Huo Lin suppressed his smile, his dark, unfathomable eyes fixed on her, his already gloomy expression now taking on a fierce edge.
If Xun Ting had seen the man's expression before, she would have been terrified, but now she knew the villain wouldn't hurt her, so she felt much braver.
She stared at the man expectantly, "Do you want someone to forcibly take the supplementary card back?"
Upon hearing this, Huo Lin smiled helplessly. The little liar was now convinced that he wouldn't do it, so he wasn't afraid. But given the current condition of his leg, he might really not be able to stand up.
So he said all this just for the women's sake.
Who knew that Xun Ting, who had been eager to stay far away from him before, was now unwilling to leave? He sighed, somewhat helplessly: "Do you really want to spend your whole life with a cripple?"
"You will get better. Even if you don't get better, I will spend my whole life with you."
She reached under the covers and grasped the man's large hand. "This is how you tell him your determination. I've never been so persistent in my life."
"Um."
"So stop thinking nonsense. I will absolutely not get a divorce until your legs can't walk anymore," Xun Ting said with a smile.
If you've read too many domineering CEO novels, you'll naturally be able to tell that the villain wants her to leave because he can't stand up, and he doesn't want to drag her down with him.
She gets angry every time she sees that kind of plot. They can be together and not care about those things, so why do they have to use such a strange way as leaving?
"Okay." Huo Lin subconsciously reached out and pulled the woman into his arms.
"My darling, I'm currently doing my internship at the hospital, so I might not have much time to spend with you during the day." Xun Ting buried her head in his chest.
It's too early to tell the villain that she can perform the surgery for him.
"practice?"
"Yes, I'm doing an internship. Once I've learned how, I can take good care of you." Xun Ting nodded, secretly observing the man's expression.
"The hospital has dedicated nurses." Huo Lin frowned slightly, knowing how tiring it was for nurses, and was somewhat reluctant to have a woman learn that skill.
Even if one day he really can't stand up anymore, it won't be her turn to take care of him. She just needs to be Mrs. Huo and enjoy the happiness of shopping, eating, and having fun.
“That’s different.” Xun Ting stared intently at the man. “I want to take care of you myself.”
"Need not……"
Xun Ting immediately guessed what the man wanted to say and interrupted him, "Mr. Huo, you don't need to say anything. I don't want to hear it. I don't want to hear it."
Huo Lin looked at the woman in his arms and felt somewhat helpless. She was both willful and incredibly soft-hearted, making it impossible for him to utter a harsh word.
The man's eyes held a hint of helplessness, his expression unfathomable, and it was impossible to tell what he was thinking.
"Get some rest. I'll help you with your rehabilitation tomorrow morning." Xun Ting closed her eyes.
She was indeed a bit tired after performing several surgeries today, and she could fall asleep right away.
"Hmm." Huo Lin noticed the weariness in Xun Ting's eyes, but in the end, he didn't say anything more. He just held her tightly and fell asleep together.
