Even though Shen Huan was trying to suppress her excitement, she couldn't hide the look on her face. Her words drew the attention of Xun Ting and Lin Qingyan.
"Then Director Xun, please take me along." The male intern looked at Xun Ting with a smile.
"I'm fine with anything." Xun Ting didn't care who she brought along, as long as they didn't cause trouble. She glanced at Lin Qingyan, asking for his opinion.
Lin Qingyan frowned slightly, his face clearly showing his dissatisfaction with the assignment. If he brought this woman, wouldn't that mean his sister would have to bring a man?
That guy had a sly, shifty look to him. Could he be trying to seduce his sister? The thought of his sister, whom he had just found, being snatched away by someone else made him instinctively unhappy. This wouldn't do!
His younger sister is married and has to go back to someone else's place every night, which is already annoying enough for him.
The thought of another man trying to steal her away during the day only made Lin Qingyan more annoyed!
"No, men must bring men, and women must bring women."
Xun Ting's lips twitched, and she looked at him, raising an eyebrow slightly. "You like men?"
Lin Qingyan avoided looking at her, not wanting to be seen. She couldn't very well say that she didn't want her to bring a man, so she coughed awkwardly, "Ahem...yes."
“Okay, I’ll take Chen Huan, and you take the male classmate.” Xun Ting nodded nonchalantly.
This decision was extremely painful for Shen Huan. Why didn't Dr. Lin take her with him...? Xun Ting clearly disliked her so much, couldn't she just refuse to take her with her?
"If that's the case, Dr. Lin will definitely take her with him," Shen Huan said, her face pale and aggrieved. "Dr. Lin, I don't want Xun Ting to take me with him. I have a grudge against her, and I'm afraid she'll take it out on me and bully me on purpose."

This female intern, however, didn't seem to be serious about learning at all.
“Dr. Lin, it’s not just my imagination. Xun Ting used to argue with me a lot when we were in school. Once, a few of my classmates and I fell off a cliff. Because of our little grudges, Xun Ting just ignored us and left us to fend for ourselves at the bottom of the cliff. If our homeroom teacher hadn’t arrived in time, we would have been dead.”
Shen Huan softened her tone, her gaze fixed on Lin Qingyan, growing more and more captivated with each glance.
She insisted that Dr. Lin take her under his wing, so that they would have a chance to be together; being close to the water tower would give her an advantage.
Lin Qingyan frowned upon hearing this, disbelieving it to be true. He instinctively looked at Xun Ting, waiting for her explanation.
“…You can mentor both of them. I have no experience mentoring interns.” Xun Ting’s lips twitched, finally noticing the deep affection in Shen Huan’s gaze.
She's got a crush on her brother?
Upon hearing this, Shen Huan immediately became anxious. What kind of situation is it to have an extra third wheel? "Xun Ting, you are also a director. How can you be so selfish and dump me and this classmate on Dr. Lin?"
"If you keep talking nonsense, I'll take you, and Lin Qingyan will take him." Xun Ting said slowly with a smile on his lips.
Upon hearing this, Shen Huan immediately shut up, "Then Dr. Lin can take us. I'm afraid you won't be able to take good care of me. I'm not very smart, and besides, we have a past."
