Chapter 351 is even worse.

Fu Xi walked over and stood in front of her mother. "Why did you throw my computer away?"

"If I don't throw it away, will you keep it and become addicted to it every day? Do you even know how bad your grades are?" Mrs. Fu said unhappily as she got up to clear the dishes.

She had always turned a blind eye to her daughter's grades, but this time they had really fallen too far behind. Moreover, she spent all her time either sleeping or in front of the computer and never reviewed her textbooks.

So Fu's mother got angry. Did she really think that writing that lousy novel could put food on the table?

"I'm not addicted; I've always been managing my time reasonably." Fu Xi clenched her hands, took a deep breath, and calmed herself down.

My mother has always been like this, never asking for my opinion, whether it's about computers or anything else, she never discusses it with me.

"Reasonable control? Then how come your grades have dropped so much? They were already terrible, and now they're even worse. Do you want to finish vocational school and then go out to work? With your current grades, you can't even get into a decent junior college!"

Mrs. Fu couldn't help but sneer; she knew her daughter very well.

"I'm trying my best! You chose this major for me. I don't like it, but I went to study it anyway. It's a science subject that I'm not good at, and I suffer every day because I fell behind in my foundation. No matter how hard I try to listen now, I still can't understand it. What else do you want?"

Fu Xi's eyes welled up with tears. She was in so much pain. The pressure her mother was putting on her was too heavy, making it hard for her to breathe.

She knew, of course, that reading more books would give her more options, but she really couldn't learn science.

"Now you're blaming me? I work so hard to earn money to send you to school, and this is how you repay me?" Mrs. Fu slammed her hand on the table, making a loud noise.

"I'm not blaming you, but can you please stop pressuring me? I didn't want this major, but I studied it. I listened to you and only played on the computer for two hours a day, but why did you still throw away my computer?"

Fu Xi clenched her fists into her hands, her nails digging into her palms, with faint traces of blood.

"I paid for this computer, can't I just throw my things away?" Mrs. Fu snorted coldly, then went into the kitchen to wash the dishes without hesitation.

Fu Xi was left alone in the living room. She looked up at the ceiling, trying to hold back her tears and prevent them from falling. She hadn't revised her writing yet.

After she stopped crying, she ran back to her room without hesitation, locked the door, curled up on the bed, and took out her phone to revise the article.

Her life felt like she was living someone else's life, with no choice in her own hands.

Fu Xi discovered that she couldn't publish the article she had revised. She couldn't help but frown and immediately sent a message to the editor, who replied quickly.

[The authorities have ordered your book to be temporarily suspended. Please revise the manuscript and have it reviewed again.]

Fu Xi couldn't help but panic when she saw this. Xun Ting was still in the book. What would happen if she was banned? Moreover, if she was banned and then released, would Wen Xiyang and the others still exist?

Fu Xi hurriedly got out of bed, put on her slippers, and prepared to go out. She wanted to check if Xun Ting had returned.

While washing dishes in the kitchen, Mrs. Fu heard the noise from the living room and couldn't help but yell at the outside, "Where are you going to fool around again! Do you know what time it is?"

"I'm going out for a bit, I'll be right back."
