"Is there anything you don't know?" Wen Xiyang turned to look at the woman, who was shaking her head and looking at her book. What was she trying to express with these actions?
"No, no," Fu Xi replied immediately, glancing cautiously at the man. "Teacher, if you're busy, you don't have to worry about me."
"Not busy," Wen Xiyang replied casually, having finished organizing all the review materials for the last book. He piled them aside, waiting for the woman to look at them.
If she still can't understand what I've done, I'll be furious.
Fortunately, Fu Xi understood everything except for a few questions. After I explained it to her again, she understood. So, Fu Xi wasn't stupid, but rather she just couldn't understand.
If things continue like this, it won't be long before Fu Xi's grades gradually improve.
"I've finished reading." Fu Xi put away her notebook, cautiously looked up at him, and for a moment didn't know whether she should go back to her seat or stay there.
"Go back to your seat. I'm going to take a nap. Wake me up when class starts."
Wen Xiyang seemed to sense her fear, but his tone remained light and cheerful. After saying this, he lay down to sleep, looking extremely exhausted.
Fu Xi was actually a little scared. She didn't like going through crowded places, as she was worried about the teacher coming up to class later.
It would be very impolite to shout directly from her seat, and the whole class would be looking at her.
But since the new teacher had prepared so many review materials for her and she was so sleepy, Fu Xi felt embarrassed not to call out to her, so she could only sit back down in her seat.
When class started, the students came in one after another.
"Wow! Isn't that the new teacher? Why is he sitting in the classroom so early?"
"I feel like I'm being very responsible. If I had known the new teacher would be here so early today, I would have come earlier."
"Don't even think about it. It's no use coming early. We can't see his face. Didn't you see that the new teacher is lying down? He must be sleeping. Looks like he was a little tired last night."
"Teacher Xin is still so young, could she be so sleepy from playing PUBG all night?"
"Pfft... Do you think everyone is like you? Playing PUBG all day long."
Amidst the chaotic noise, the school bell rang. Fu Xi steeled herself and walked to the podium, knocking on the desk. "Teacher, class is starting."
I thought it would be hard to wake someone up once they fell asleep, but I didn't expect that the new teacher was a light sleeper. I only tapped her gently, and she raised her head and opened her eyes.
His hair was a little messy, but his hazy eyes made him look exceptionally handsome.
"Okay." Wen Xiyang's voice was low and slightly hoarse as he woke up.
Fu Xi quickly returned to her seat under everyone's gaze, never having felt so bold.
I was indeed a little nervous when I first mustered up the courage to walk onto the stage, but my mind went completely blank after I got there, and I didn't come to my senses until I came back.
Actually, many things are not as difficult as we imagine; we just overthink them.
Wen Xiyang stood up, tapped the podium with his stick to signal the class to be quiet: "Come on, it's morning reading time now. Open your textbooks and recite."
"Okay," they answered in unison.
While everyone was reciting, Fu Xi also kept her eyes on the textbook, and had the illusion that Teacher Wen was constantly walking around next to her.
Fu Xi shook her head, thinking it impossible.
