Inside the car, Su Yichen's face darkened, and he said unhappily, "Old man! Let's go!"
"What's the rush!" The old man turned around and glared at his son, then smiled and said to Xun Ting, "Then I'll be going now. Here's a business card. Remember to bring it when you come back."
"Okay." Xun Ting knew that if she didn't answer, the old man would probably ask a million questions.
After the car drove away, she was stunned. It seemed that the old man had forgotten to give her money. Oh well, she was already so poor, she didn't care about a hundred yuan.
Glancing at the trash can nearby, she casually tossed her business card into it.
After she left, a figure sneakily approached and rummaged through the trash can, found the business card, wiped it clean, and stuffed it into his pocket.
...
...
Xun Ting used his only three yuan to sit in an internet cafe for a while before returning to his dormitory.
Her bed was piled with all sorts of things, but her roommate didn't react at all. She leaned against the bed and said calmly, "Whose things are these?"
Her two roommates kept their heads down and ignored her, as if they hadn't heard her speak.
Xun Ting watched them for a while, chuckled softly, and didn't call them again. He deftly picked up the things on the bed and stuffed them into the trash can.
"What are you doing!" Gu Tian slammed her hand on the table in anger upon seeing this, unable to continue pretending to be mute.
"Throw away the trash that nobody wants." Xun Ting continued moving things from the bed into the trash can.
"This isn't trash, stop!" Gu Tian was heartbroken. All her priceless cosmetics had been thrown into the trash can, and it would be so dirty to pick them up later.
"If it's not trash, take it back to your own beds."
"Is it really necessary to be so stingy just to borrow your bed for a bit? Roommates should help each other, you know?" Gu Tian put her cosmetics and other items back into her own closet.
She looked at the woman with a hint of mockery on her lips. She was indeed as annoying as Shen Huan had said!
"Helping each other, huh?" Xun Ting murmured these five words with an ambiguous meaning, a smile playing on his lips, his alluring eyes fixed on Gu Tian. "Where's your bed?"
"What are you doing up there?" Gu Tian glared at her and said irritably.
Xun Ting ignored her, turned around and slammed the wooden board of the upper bunk against the bed rail, and a ray of light shone through the gap in the bed.
She clapped her hands, looking slightly satisfied, and explained slowly, "Your bed was blocking the light and affecting my studies. This is much better."
"How am I supposed to sleep if you do this!" Gu Tian was furious when she heard her words.
The dormitory light is in the middle of the upper wall, so bright, what light is it blocking? This is clearly someone eavesdropping and deliberately causing trouble!
"Aren't roommates supposed to help each other out? What's wrong with you feeling wronged for one night?" Xun Ting chuckled softly, lying on her own bed and pulling the blanket over herself to isolate herself from them.
Gu Tian stared at the bulge on the bed, her eyes burning as if she wanted to burn a hole in the blanket. In the end, she couldn't stand Xun Ting sleeping so soundly, so she reached out and tugged at Xun Ting's blanket.
"Get up right now and put my bed back, or I'll tell the dormitory supervisor!"
Annoyed by the noise, Xun Ting scratched his head, pulled back the covers, stood up, and pushed the wooden board off the ceiling back into place!
She flopped onto the bed, pulled the covers over herself, and said, "Don't bother me while I'm sleeping."
Gu Tian stood there for a while, looked at her forearms, and fell into deep thought. She was about the same size as Xun Ting, so why didn't she have that much strength?
