Chapter 4 The Female Lead's Halo

"Okay." The doctor agreed without hesitation and was about to go out to wait when he saw the woman kneeling on the ground with her head down. She looked very cute.

"This is?"

"This is a woman who attempted to harm Master Huo. We'll deal with her after Master Huo wakes up," the cold man explained indifferently, giving her no kind look.

Upon hearing this, Xun Ting chuckled and muttered under her breath, "Bullshit, you're the one who dragged me here, otherwise why would there be so much trouble?"

"Pfft..." The doctor couldn't help but chuckle when he heard the woman's soft voice. It seemed she had almost been used as the antidote.

He never interfered in other people's business, and without hesitation, he turned around and went downstairs to wait for the man to wake up. Little did he know that it was this indifference that would lead to his deep regret later.

Hearing the sound of them going downstairs, he looked up and glanced at them. Seeing that they were far away, he realized there was nothing to kneel for, so he got up and sat on the floor.

She had to find a way to escape, because she would be dead once the villain woke up. In the darkness, she hugged the villain!

You should know that Master Huo in the book is most averse to women touching him. There is a passage describing a girl who fell into his arms and was immediately thrown to be fed to the dogs. It's terrifying!

As expected, the world of novels is not as good as the real world. She was desperate. Couldn't she have just transmigrated into a better script?

Without further ado, jump out the window! When he saw that the room was three stories above the ground, Xun Ting hesitated for a moment, then realized that this was a novel!

She's the female lead, she has the female lead's halo, so... she should be fine, right?

Compared to having some trouble and being tortured to death by the villain, she closed her eyes, gritted her teeth, and ran over, intending to jump down, when she suddenly tripped over a vase.

"Bang!"

As Xun Ting knelt on the ground, he met a pair of piercing, cold eyes that exuded a chilling aura. The dark, bottomless eyes were faintly bloodshot.

The dark circles under his eyes made him look haggard, but they couldn't hide his delicate features. His hazy eyes were half-open, and his voice was hoarse yet extremely intimidating: "Looking for death?"

Xun Ting was almost in tears by this scene. She forced a fawning smile onto her face. The original book didn't describe the villain much, and she didn't know how to please him.

If I wake him up now, as long as I can get him back to sleep, it should be... it should be fine, right?

She rushed over and tried to cover the man's eyes with her small hands, saying, "No one woke you up, really no one woke you up. You're dreaming, go back to sleep."

The man suddenly rolled over and wrapped his arms around her slender waist, resting his face on her lap.

A calm breathing sound could be heard.

"???" Xun Ting had already come up with a bunch of excuses and reasons to tell the man, but he just fell asleep like that?

The cold-blooded man went upstairs and found that the woman kneeling at the door was gone. He was so frightened that he rushed into the room thinking that something had happened to Young Master Huo. Who knew that he would see that the woman dared to put Young Master Huo's arm around her. She was utterly shameless!

To avoid waking Master Huo from his sleep, he deliberately lowered his voice: "How dare you! You actually dared to touch Master Huo!"

The light, airy sound made the man on the bed open his eyes and glance at the cold man with displeasure.

"Mr. Huo... Mr. Huo, please continue sleeping. I will take this woman out immediately." A crack appeared on the cold man's face as he stammered, trying to take the woman out.

Unexpectedly, Master Huo reached out and hugged the woman tightly, then lay down on her lap and fell into a deep sleep again.

Listening closely, I glanced at the man and saw his displeasure, as if to say: See? It was your stinky Mr. Huo who was shoving me around, but I didn't touch him.
