The next day, Fu Xi usually got up quite early and made breakfast so that Wen Xiyang and her mother could have something to eat as soon as they got up.
Fu Xi fried an egg, heated up a bottle of milk, made some toast, and then went upstairs to call Wen Xiyang and her mother down for dinner.
A short while later, Wen Xiyang and his mother came downstairs together. The man sat to Fu Xi's left, and his mother sat in the empty seat to Fu Xi's right.
After eating for a while, Mother suddenly looked up and asked, "How did you all rest yesterday?"
Wen Xiyang nodded and said calmly, "It's fine. I was watching TV in the living room yesterday, but I got so engrossed that I fell asleep there."
He was so tired last night that he didn't go back to his room to sleep; he just lay there and fell asleep.
They chatted for a long time during the meal, right after they finished eating. Fu Xi was currently unemployed and had been bored at home for a long time, especially since they didn't have anything else to do.
Fu Xi suddenly suggested that her mother and Wen Xiyang should go out to play.
The man happened to be off work today, so he agreed to the woman's request without hesitation. However, Fu Xi's mother was not used to the feng shui of the place since she had just arrived.
He refused to go out and insisted on staying home all day and going to bed later.
Fu Xi nodded. Since her mother wasn't feeling well, she told her to stay home and not go out to play.
Fu Xi and Wen Xiyang went back to their room, changed their clothes, and prepared to go out.
As they changed their clothes and went out, Fu Xi's mother couldn't help but remind her child, "Be careful on the road."
Wen Xiyang chuckled and looked at Madam Fu, a smile playing on his lips. "Okay, Mom, I understand. We'll be careful. You get some rest. When Auntie comes back, just tell her what you'd like to eat."
"Okay, you guys go ahead."
After the two left, Wen Xiyang asked Fu Xi where she wanted to go for fun.
Fu Xi rolled her eyes and suddenly remembered an old legend that couples who kiss at the top of a Ferris wheel will stay together forever.
I didn't believe in these things before, but now I inexplicably believe them and want to be with Wen Xiyang forever.
"Let's go to the amusement park! We'll ride the roller coaster, the Ferris wheel, and go to the haunted house. We'll do everything we can at the amusement park, okay?"
Seeing Fu Xi's expectant look, Wen Xiyang couldn't bear to refuse and agreed.
Because Fu Xi had mentioned before that she wanted to take the bus with him sometime, Wen Xiyang didn't drive himself today, but instead took the bus with Fu Xi.
Since it was Wen Xiyang's first time taking the bus and he didn't know how to pay the fare, Fu Xi paid for him as well.
When they got off the bus, the amusement park was right in front of the bus stop sign. Fu Xi was very excited and rushed out as soon as the bus door opened.
Wen Xiyang immediately followed, and as the two ran, a car suddenly sped up behind them.
Wen Xiyang's eyes widened as he realized that Fu Xi was very close to the car. Startled, he rushed over and forcefully pushed Fu Xi to the side of the grass.
He clutched his head, and after a bout of headache, the whole world went quiet.
As he drifted off to sleep, Wen Xiyang saw Fu Xi on the grass. Her eyes were red and she had been lying by the roadside. She looked desperate, but he didn't have the strength to hug her or tell her to stop crying.
Someone on the roadside immediately called an ambulance, and Fu Xi got in the car.
