Chapter 58 Eating with Great Delight

"Okay, then you can go hungry." Xun Ting reached for a pair of disposable chopsticks, added a spoonful of chili to the bowl, and the originally clear soup turned red, making it look appetizing.

Gu Shen watched helplessly as the woman ate the foul-smelling food in her bowl with great relish.

Her little mouth opened and closed as if she were enjoying the most delicious food in the world. Her cherry-like lips were bright red from the spiciness, but she seemed not to feel it and continued to eat with slurping.

"Gurgle, gurgle—" Gu Shen hadn't eaten all day, and his stomach growled contentedly.

Xun Ting paused in her actions, gave the man a look, and said, "Try a bite. If you don't like it, I'll take you to eat something else. If you don't try it, I won't take you to eat anything else."

"Try it then." Gu Shen picked up a pair of chopsticks, grabbed a mouthful of the stinky stuff, and resignedly stuffed it into his mouth. The taste was sour and refreshing!

He couldn't wait to take a few more bites, and wow, it was actually pretty delicious.

Xun Ting had only eaten half a bowl when he saw the man who had previously despised snail rice noodles, calling them "shit" and saying he would rather starve than eat them, finish the entire bowl, soup and all!

She even asked the waiter for another bowl, and she had no doubt that if the bowl and chopsticks were edible, they would have been swallowed by the man as well.

"Why are you looking at me like that? Don't be so stingy. I only ate two bowls." Gu Shen turned his head and saw the woman's ambiguous gaze.

"Does shit... taste good?" Xun Ting asked with difficulty. How could someone slap him in the face so quickly?

Didn't she resolutely refuse to eat it? How come she ate two bowls...? This snail rice noodle shop is quite expensive, she must be feeling the pinch.

Gu Shen's ears turned red. "What nonsense are you talking about? Isn't this called snail rice noodles?"

I must say the waiter was very quick; the second bowl of snail rice noodles was served immediately.

Xun Ting thought two bowls should be enough, after all, the bowls for snail rice noodles are big. Heaven knows what she went through in the restaurant, this man ate a whole five big bowls!

People at other tables cast strange glances at him. It was the same young man who said it was shit, and he was also the one who ate five big bowls. The young man was... strange.

After finishing our meal, we paid the bill.

Gu Shen rubbed his stomach with a satisfied look as he left, lazily following the woman.

"I want to stay in a five-star hotel."

"Poor." Xun Ting rolled her eyes at the man. He ate so much snail rice noodles, and he still had the nerve to ask to stay in a five-star hotel? Did he think she was his ATM?!

A Rolls-Royce passed them by, and Gu Zhu's eyes widened. "Master Huo, isn't that Miss Xun Ting?"

Huo Lin followed Gu Zhu's gaze and indeed saw that petite figure. There was a boy next to her, and the boy kept talking to the woman.

Huo Lin, who always had exceptional hearing, couldn't help but frown when he heard that she wanted to stay in a five-star hotel. She actually kept a gigolo?

"parking."

"yes."

Huo Lin opened the car door, took a step with his long legs, then another, and stood outside the car, his gaze falling on the two people walking towards him.

As soon as Xun Ting got close, he could keenly sense the cold air permeating the atmosphere.

When she saw the villain in front of her, she inexplicably felt that she had caused trouble again. Ugh! She hadn't done anything wrong. She walked closer and put on a flattering smile.

"Mr. Huo... are you admiring the scenery?"

Gu Shen stopped in his tracks. It was the first time he had seen Xun Ting so timid. He was usually fearless and would ask questions directly if he had any doubts.

He didn't mince words: "Who's this guy? You're such a coward, where's your backbone to talk back to me?"
