Chapter 6 Even Master Huo hasn't spoken, yet you're spouting so much nonsense.

Xun was about to head for the door when she heard this, not forgetting to wipe her dry eyes. Look how realistic her acting is! Surely this man will be moved now, right?

"stop."

She eagerly turned to look at the man, smiling ingratiatingly, "Mr. Huo, is there anything else you need to say?"

"Give me your finger." The man's gaze fell on her smiling face. She grinned mischievously, looking worried and scared. Was she that afraid of him?

"Finger?" Xun Ting was startled. Her eyes widened as she recalled the pain of her finger being bitten in the dark.

Could the villain have some kind of weird quirk?

Before she could react, the man grabbed her hand and held it to his nose to smell it. It smelled very sweet and fragrant. The blood on her finger had dried.

Huo Lin's dark eyes were unfathomable, as if he were deep in thought. He pursed his thin lips and said, "Come to the villa at seven o'clock sharp tomorrow night."

"Mr. Huo, although I admire you, a woman like me is not worthy to lie beneath you. How about I find you a fair-skinned, beautiful, virtuous, and well-connected woman from a prominent family?"

Xun Ting wore a sweet smile, her eyes filled with deep affection.

Listen to this, what a good person he is, wholeheartedly thinking of the villain. The villain should be moved now, right?

"Miss, didn't you say you admire Master Huo? Aren't you heartbroken to give your beloved to another woman?" The cold man was definitely a straight man.

He frowned, his gaze, filled with confusion, fixed on the woman, as if deliberately picking a fight.

Xun Ting's expression froze for a moment, then he couldn't wait to chuckle and explain.

"How could I not be heartbroken? Not being able to have Master Huo is a painful thing in life, but there's nothing I can do. Loving someone means wanting them to be happy more than possessing them."

"Is that so? How can you guarantee that the person you find will love Master Huo as much as you do, and not just his money?"

The cold man nodded with an expression of understanding, his icy aura dissipating, leaving only an approachable and friendly demeanor; his initial fierce image had vanished.

Xun Ting felt a million curses running through his mind. He really wanted to pull out his fifty-meter-long sword and hold it to this subordinate's neck, threatening him fiercely, "Shut the hell up!"

She forced herself to continue fabricating: "This...this was my oversight. I will definitely choose a good girl for Master Huo who will never leave him, even if he goes blind, becomes disfigured, or becomes disabled!"

As soon as he said that, the entire room was instantly filled with cold air, and the atmosphere became strange and unsettling.

Seeing Huo Ye's darkened eyes and expressionless face, Xun Ting thought to herself, "Is she even speaking human language? This metaphor sounds like an insult."

She chuckled awkwardly to salvage the situation: "A metaphor... I'm just a metaphor that doesn't exist!"

Huo Lin glanced at her, unsure whether she had taken her words to heart, "If you dare not come by seven o'clock tomorrow night, I'll ransack your house."

"Screw you." Despite his inner turmoil, Xun Ting still wore a friendly smile. "It's my honor to meet Master Huo! I'll definitely come tomorrow."

"Yes, take her back." Huo Lin was quite pleased with her flattery, the corners of his lips slightly turned up, and a hint of gentleness shone through the depths of his cold eyes.

"No need, no need, I can go back by myself." Xun Ting couldn't wait to run out the door and immediately went downstairs, her steps not stopping at all, as if she were being chased by a ghost.
