Xun Ting glanced at him up and down and saw that he looked quite pitiful; his exposed arms and collarbone were covered in bruises. "How pathetic."
"Who the hell needs your pity? Just say whether you'll help or not." Gu Shen rolled his eyes in annoyance. He had been beaten since he was a child and could take it.
The problem right now is that he's injured and can't beat his opponent at all!
"Not helping is shameful!"
"Why didn't you say that when you hit me?"
"You started it." Xun Ting raised an eyebrow. The kid was quite vengeful. But she hadn't hit him hard, or he would have ended up in the hospital.

"Promise me you won't collect protection money again, and I'll give you a chance to avoid being beaten." Xun Ting crossed his arms and decided to try persuasion first.
To everyone's surprise, Chicken Feather burst out laughing. "Beauty, being too arrogant isn't cute. How about I give you a chance to stand on my side and save you from getting beaten up?"
"Come over here to our big brother, he's really good at taking care of women~" the younger brother eagerly chimed in, his tone ambiguous.
