Chapter 71 Sleep First

"You'd better watch yourself." Xun Ting glanced at the couple behind her, a mocking smile playing on her red lips.

"You've gone too far! Xun Ting, I order you to get back here right now!" Xun's father gritted his teeth in anger at the sight. Xun Ting had indeed become ungrateful!

No matter how much he called out from behind, the figure in front showed no sign of stopping.

The mother was anxious. "Honey, what should we do? Mengmeng's health can't be delayed any longer."

"Don't worry, Xunting will come back obediently." Xunting's father was so angry that he couldn't catch his breath. Xunting could actually beat two bodyguards? Thinking of this, his expression was complicated.

I haven't really looked into Xunting for a long time, so naturally I don't know what she's been up to.

"I'll tell Qingbai about this, and Xun always listens to Qingbai." Thinking of this, Xun's mother couldn't wait to go inside and get her phone.

"Okay, Qingbai was so nice to Mengmeng before, he must like Mengmeng too."

...

Xun Ting didn't have the courage to go back to the villain's villa. She had acted so recklessly today; going back now would be suicide. If she registered her ID at the hotel, she would definitely be arrested and taken back.

So she went to an internet cafe, bought three seats, put them together, bought a blanket from the owner, covered herself with it, and made do for the night. Her phone ran out of battery and shut down automatically.

She slept soundly, unaware of the frantic search Huo Lin had conducted that night, and the commotion at Xun Jia's place.

The internet cafe owner's lips twitched at the sight. This guy didn't come here to play on the computer, he came to sleep? Doesn't it get tiring to push three chairs together? Wouldn't a hotel be better?

It's unlikely to be for money, after all... three computers are much more expensive than a hotel room.

There were quite a few people who came to play games in the morning. They all subconsciously looked at the woman lying down and sleeping. Her face was stunning, yet she was sleeping in such a place.

"Little sister, are you tired sleeping like this? How about I take you to a hotel? It'll definitely be more comfortable than this."

Before the man could even get close, Xun Ting peeked out from under the covers and kicked him away.

"Touching me with your foot, does that mean you agree?" The man grinned lewdly, reaching out to hug her.

Xun Ting kicked the person several steps away with force, rolled over, and buried his head under the covers. "Don't make a sound!"

"Don't push your luck!" The man's good temper had been completely worn down, and he was so angry that he gritted his teeth. But before he could get close, he was kicked away.

If the woman's head hadn't been buried under the covers, he would have almost thought she was pretending to be asleep on purpose!

No matter how many times he approached or how long he stayed away, the beautiful woman could always easily kick him away without hurting him. The lewd man was furious but helpless.

He decided to avoid provoking her, sat down at his computer to play games, and occasionally observed the woman.

After what seemed like an eternity, the three women finally got up. She rubbed her sleepy eyes and her first instinct was to check the time on her phone.

Damn, the power's out!

She casually turned on a computer; it was already past one in the afternoon—she always lost track of time when she took a nap. A news item popped up and caught her attention.

[#Shocking! A philanthropist, Mr. Xun, adopted a daughter and raised her with utmost care, treating her like his own. However, the adopted daughter is ungrateful! She assaulted Mr. Xun and his wife at the hospital. According to sources, the incident stemmed from the couple's efforts to find a heart donor for their biological daughter. Is this a sign of moral decay or a loss of humanity? Stay tuned for the following report.]
