Chapter 86 What a coincidence, we just know each other.

Xun Ting glanced at the people behind him. They were dressed in ordinary clothes and did not attract much attention. Their steps were steady, and they appeared to be professional bodyguards.

Based on her steps, she could see about twenty people; she was indeed very diligent in searching for her family!

She wasn't confident she could defeat those people on her own, so she could only keep heading towards areas with large crowds.

As if they had guessed her intentions, two of them approached her directly and said, "Honey, don't be angry. I'll kneel on the washboard when we get home tonight."

"Sister, please don't argue with your brother-in-law. He really knows he was wrong."

The two of them blocked their way.

Xun Ting paused, narrowing his eyes slightly: "Get out of the way! I don't know you."

"Listen to this, you can hit me or scold me all you want, just don't pretend you don't know me, okay? Let's talk about it at home." One of the men came over and grabbed her hand.

Xun Ting kicked him to the ground, pushed aside another bodyguard who was pretending to be his younger brother, and kept running forward.

They outnumber her; if they fight, she'll be at a disadvantage.

The other bodyguards realized she was trying to run and immediately surrounded her.

It was surrounded on all four sides.

Xun Ting paused, then, surrounded in the alley, she chuckled softly, "How much money did the Xun family give you?"

"Since Miss Xunting knows why we've come, she should obediently come with us."

"Dream on!" Xun Ting quickly stepped forward and punched the person in front of him, knocking him to the ground.

She then kicked the others to the ground. Since there were many of them, she was bound to be hit and was increasingly at a disadvantage.

When she was caught, her head was spinning. She gave a self-deprecating laugh. If she couldn't survive in the world of novels, would she have to go back to her own world and be a sickly person?

...

"Quickly, take her to the doctor for a check-up, then the surgery can begin."

The father nervously instructed the bodyguards that the money was well spent and that his daughter's life could be saved.

"yes."

Xun Ting had already been tied up and carried towards the examination room. In her hazy state, she could still hear a gentle male voice, which sounded exceptionally pleasant.

Why is she tied up?

"Doctor, don't worry about anything else, just help us with the heart transplant. I'll pay you whatever it costs," Mr. Xun said calmly.

"Forcing someone to donate their heart? Do you know that's illegal?" The doctor chuckled softly. He walked up to the bound woman and froze.

He couldn't wait to untie the ropes for the person.

The father rushed forward to stop him, saying, "Doctor! What are you doing? If you don't perform this surgery for us, we'll find someone else."

The doctor deftly untied the ropes, saying, "Save my friend."

"What...what do you mean?"

"You've attacked my friend. Should I have the hospital kick you out, or call the police?"

"You... how is this possible! How could Xun Ting possibly know you!" Xun's father stared wide-eyed in disbelief.

You have to understand, this person in front of me is the most authoritative cardiologist in the medical school, a well-known figure in the entire city of H. How could Xun Ting possibly know him...?

"What a coincidence, we do know each other." The doctor gently placed the person on the hospital bed.

He reached out and ruffled her hair.

"You, you, you..."

The doctor said calmly, "Get out. You'll have to wait for the heart transplant yourselves."

Since the attending physician said so, Xun's father didn't dare to continue pulling Xun Ting away.

Tears streamed down his face as he knelt on the ground, pleading, "Doctor, is there any way to get a heart transplant today?"

"have no idea."
