"This is Young Master Lin's wedding. I hope everyone will focus on what matters. We can talk about my affairs another time." Xun Ting chuckled softly.
She remained calm and composed throughout, showing no intention of going on stage.
Lin Qingbai stared intently at her, his face extremely embarrassed, probably trying to provoke her with his words: "Xunting, come up here and be my pig bride's bridesmaid!"
"Does a pig need human help? Can a pig talk?" Xun Ting chuckled mockingly, fully aware of the ritual to come.
Humans may need bridesmaids, but pigs don't.
"Miss Xunting makes a good point. Why don't we just exchange rings and go to the bridal chamber?" The people who had gathered to watch couldn't help but lower their heads and agree.
Lin Qingbai's face grew even more ashen. His gaze remained fixed on the woman the entire time. Did she really intend to let him marry a pig? And she didn't even come to stop him?
Before anyone else could react, an elderly man approached through the main entrance.
He stormed over, furious. "You shameful bastard!"
The first thing he did upon stepping onto the stage was to slap Lin Qingbai across the face. "Smack!" The force was strong and loud, and the sound echoed clearly throughout the villa, reaching everyone's ears.
Just hearing the sound makes me feel pain.
"I heard your engagement has been dissolved, and I didn't ask you to marry her. What are you doing now? Marrying a pig? Do you really want to live with a pig?"
Grandpa Lin looked at his grandson with disappointment, his chest filled with anger. How could he have such a despicable grandson?
"The engagement has been dissolved? So... Young Master Lin didn't do this ridiculous thing just to avoid marrying Xun Ting?" The audience was completely baffled by this situation.
"Grandpa, don't you think today's situation has a lot to do with you? You made me get engaged to Xunting, and you made me break off the engagement with her, without ever asking my opinion!"
Lin Qingbai felt a burning pain in his cheeks, and he subconsciously stuck out the tip of his tongue and pressed it against his mouth.
"Didn't you always hate her and target her? Breaking off the engagement is exactly what you wanted, so why are you unwilling to do it now?"
Grandpa Lin was so angry he laughed. He knew his grandson well; the only reason he was saying this was that he didn't want to break off the engagement.
But the decision-making power in this matter is not his. He has been bullying Xunting for so long, and this old man has always turned a blind eye. Now that Xunting can't accept it and wants to leave, there is no chance to make amends.
Lin Qingbai looked embarrassed by what he was being told; there was no way he would refuse to rescind the agreement.
He immediately retorted, "I've always hated her, and that will never change, but is it her place to break off the engagement? If anyone should break it off, it's me!"
"She's just trash I don't want! No matter how many six years have passed, it's the same!"
"My God... what did this adopted daughter do to make Young Master Lin hate her so much? He doesn't even give her any face when he speaks to her."
"I feel that today's clarification video is half true and half false. Nobody knows the truth. Maybe Xun Ting is deliberately smearing the Xun family."

She was as clever as ever, actually bringing her grandfather over, just to stop his wedding with the pig.
