"I was bullied today, but mentioning your name scared them away."
"The Eighth Prince and Brother Yu have gone to find medicine for you. They will be back soon, and then we can enjoy the rice wine in this shop together."
"Ye Lisheng, if you don't wake up, I'm not going to talk to you anymore."
No matter what I said in his ear, all he responded with was this boundless darkness.
Suddenly, the candle flame flickered wildly.
I noticed which window was open and thought of getting up to close it.
Suddenly, a gleaming, cold-looking weapon flashed before my eyes!
Just as I was about to pull out the poison, the sword was already pressed against my neck. The man's deep voice came: "Do you remember me?"
I looked closely and saw that I had never seen this fair-skinned boy before, so I shook my head and said, "I don't know you."
Nangong Liuli looked at me suspiciously and laughed, "Are you kidding me?"
"Jingxin Garden of the Prince of Anyang's Mansion".
“Mirror Heart Garden? You’ve met me before, so you must know about my past.”
Seeing me like this, she thought something had happened: "Playing dumb won't work."
He glanced at Ye Lisheng, who was lying unconscious on the bed, and I immediately blocked him like a mother hen protecting her chicks.
What do you want to do?
He smiled and said, "Don't worry, he can't die on Lan Yi's territory."
"Hand over the imperial edict."
My heart skipped a beat. This was the third person to come looking for the imperial edict, but I really didn't know what it looked like.
"I don't have the imperial edict you requested!"
As soon as she finished speaking, a sharp pain shot through the delicate skin on her arm. Looking down, she saw a small wound from which red blood was flowing.
Lying comes at a price!
I don't know what I did in the past, or if there really is some unspeakable secret.
"I have amnesia. Even if you kill me, I won't know."
His suspicious gaze swept over me, as if searching for any trace of a lie.
But after looking for a long time, there was nothing there.
"Have you really lost your memory?"
I nodded and looked at him with sincere eyes.
“You used to live in Jingxin Garden, and you were Ye Lisheng’s favorite person.”
Those two short sentences seemed to convey an important message to me.
"What else do you know?"
Just as she stood up, her lips slipped and she fell onto the bed, the bleeding spot on her arm touching Ye Lisheng's lips.
Warm liquid flowed back down the corner of his mouth.
Suddenly, I felt a sharp pain in my head, as if something was about to burst out.
Various images flashed through my mind like a movie, but I couldn't grasp anything.
Inside the Celestial Master's Mansion, Wang Qiaochuan immediately opened his tightly closed eyes and looked sharply into the corner, only to discover something that pleased him.
The withered spider lilies in the corner were now blooming exceptionally vigorously.
The marks on his palms were faintly visible, as if some images were about to emerge.
He stood up from his chair and exclaimed with delight, "It's like the heavens are on my side!"
"That's wonderful."
He immediately wrote a letter and tied it to the carrier pigeon's leg.
"We must deliver this message to Mo Sheng."
...
Seeing me clutching my chest and looking pained, Nangong Liuli thought something had happened: "I didn't touch you, don't wrong me."
A picture flashed through my mind, and this time I finally saw his face clearly.
A sharp sword pierced Ye Lisheng's chest, and I shielded him from the attack without hesitation, falling into a coma.
He stayed by my side the whole time, never leaving me.
I don't know why my heart ached so much I couldn't breathe, and tears kept flowing down my face like a burst dam.
"Ye Lisheng, it turns out we've been in love for a long time."
I forced myself to remember the past, but the more I tried to remember, the more chaotic my mind became.
Xiao Liuzi looked at Nangong Liuli with suspicion and asked, "Didn't we agree not to hurt her?"
Nangong Liuli expressed her innocence and hurriedly explained, "I didn't do anything."
I recalled a dream I had that day.
In the dream, Ye Lisheng's white clothes were stained red with blood.
"Ye Lisheng, how are you?"
"Please, please don't let anything happen to you!"
I prayed like this.
He swayed and used all his strength to lift his head, trying to wipe away the tears on my face, and said weakly, "Don't cry, your crying will only make my wounds hurt more!"
It seems like he's always getting hurt when he's with me.
Just then, a strong gust of wind swept past Nangong Liuli's ear. Under the moonlight through the window, Fan Feng, dressed in black, looked like a rogue with a dry blade of grass dangling from his mouth.
Nangong Liuli spoke first, provocatively saying, "What kind of skill is it to ambush someone?"
"Pfft!" Fan Feng spat the dry grass in his mouth at his feet, looking at him with disdain.
"What kind of skill is it to hurt girls?"
"You dare call yourself a human being?"
Nangong Liuli smiled without saying a word, but coldly replied, "I only wanted to retrieve the imperial edict; I had no intention of hurting anyone!"
"Your Highness has come to the wrong place. There is no imperial edict here for you."
While they were arguing, no one noticed a red snake-shaped totem mark flashing on Ye Lisheng's forehead on the bed.
The two of them were arguing like children: "If you're so tough, come out and have a good fight with me!"
Fan Feng immediately perked up as if he'd been injected with adrenaline: "Fine, I'll leave!"
The sound of sharp weapons clashing under the moonlight echoed in the quiet night sky.
