She looked at him closely with her large, clear eyes, as bright as grapes. He was incredibly handsome and of noble birth. Everyone would want a man like that!

After a pause, I continued, "She must be a stunning beauty, skilled in poetry and prose, proficient in music, chess, calligraphy, and painting, and able to offer you advice and strategies, unlike me who makes you angry all the time!"

Ye Lisheng's gentle smile reached his eyes: "But she may not have the ability to make me love her the way I love you. To be honest, you are indeed very infuriating."

He's implying I'm a stand-in for Murong Kui. If I retort, it would make me seem petty, which is exactly what he wants. If I don't retort, I can't swallow my anger!
