"Come and take a look, young lady!" the shopkeeper called out.
"Brother Ye, can you help me pick one?"
No sooner had he finished speaking than Ye Lisheng began selecting items. I had never seen him so patient, nor had I ever seen him treat anyone with such devotion.
My heart felt like it had been overturned with a mix of emotions.
He picked out a jade hairpin and put it on her head himself.
I couldn't help but wonder if he liked her. What about what he said to me before?
The four gilded characters of "Anyang Prince's Mansion" caught my eye, and I couldn't help but reminisce about those bygone days.

"Sixth Brother, do you think it looks like him?"
I was on pins and needles, completely at a loss. Although I had great faith in Yu Shaoqing's disguise skills, I was still sweating profusely, afraid they would recognize me.
"Doesn't seem like it!" Ye Lisheng said calmly, without even glancing at me.
Just then, something furry attacked my feet. I looked down and saw it was a dumpling.
I was overjoyed and was about to reach out to touch it when Ye Lisheng called me over.
"Tuanzi, come here!"
Then, the little dumpling obediently jumped onto him.
"It used to be very shy around strangers. I don't know why it's so affectionate towards you except for its owner!"
The way he looked at me was terrifying; for a moment, I doubted whether he recognized me.
