Just as I was overjoyed at the prospect of liberation, Ye Lisheng's gaze suddenly fell upon me, and he said without any warmth, "You stay here to taste the dishes!"
"Why should I? I don't want it!" she retorted inwardly.
But her face still maintained a docile and obedient appearance: "This servant obeys!"
"I'll endure it to survive!"
Everyone left, leaving only Ye Lisheng and me in the empty room.
The oppressive atmosphere was suffocating, so I did everything as carefully as possible, afraid of making any noise that might anger him.

Ye Xuanling is a prince of a great kingdom, while I am merely a concubine; I am absolutely not someone to be trifled with.
"Your Highness!" a soft, sweet voice cried out.
Hearing that made my body tremble, and I got goosebumps.
"I truly admire you!"
"What can I do to make Yu'er calm down?" Ye Lisheng teased, pinching her chin.
Su Yu'er's father, Su Lie, was one of the three senior officials in the court, and he was of great use to Ye Lisheng. It was precisely because of this that he tried his best to meet Su Yu'er's requests.
"I heard that my sister has lost her memory. Your Highness, why don't you entrust your sister to my care? Perhaps I can awaken her memory!"
"I don't want to!" he cried out in his heart, hoping Ye Lisheng could hear him.

A burst of soft laughter came from inside the house. I took a feather duster and dusted the room.

My eyes were constantly on Su Yu'er and the others.
"Sister, your tea is so delicious!" A gentle, soothing voice rang out.
Dressed in blue, Liu Ye exuded gentleness in every smile and gesture, as gentle as water. When she smiled, she would cover half her face with a handkerchief, making it impossible to tell whether she was smiling from her eyes.
"Of course! Sister Yu'er is the Prince's beloved concubine!" This person was named Ning Jing, but her personality didn't match her name at all; she spoke in a very outspoken and unrestrained manner.
As expected, Su Yu'er's expression changed upon hearing the word "concubine".
Each of the three had their own unique charm, and all were exceptionally beautiful.
I glanced at her disdainfully: "I really don't know where Ye Lisheng found such a gem!"
"Sister Murong Kui, you need to clean thoroughly, how can you just sweep one corner!" Ning Jing said.

The three of them started arguing. I smiled, contentedly filled my pockets with sunflowers, and gestured for all the maids to leave with me.
