Chapter Sixty-Four: Mirror Heart Garden

"Really? I heard it's passed down to the daughter-in-law!"

I spoke casually, but my eyes were constantly darting out of the corner of my eye to observe her changing expressions.

Her face was so black it looked like squid ink could drip from it. To prevent what happened in my dream from happening again, I kept a wary distance from her.

"Is the prince real?" she asked Ye Lisheng.

"Then Consort Mo must have mistaken my sister for Murong!" A faint smile played on her lips as she slept.

She seemed lost in memories, her expression pained, clutching her head, tears streaming down her face like a broken string of pearls.

"Murong, how are you?" Ye Lisheng asked with concern.

Unexpectedly, she fell into Ye Lisheng's arms, her eyes brimming with tears, and said, "Please forgive me, Your Majesty, I can't remember clearly, I can only recall a black figure!"

"So be it!"
