With a loud crash, the blanket in Ye Lisheng's hands shattered into several pieces.
Ling Ran was so frightened that her back stiffened and her head almost touched the ground.
At this moment, a commotion broke out in the hall, and several women were shouting and cursing at the top of their lungs.
Su Yu'er looked at me with disdain: "Oh! The imposter is back?"

The deeper the night, the colder it grew. I was shivering and walked around inside trying to warm myself up. The woodshed was piled with odds and ends, but thankfully there was plenty of dry grass on the floor so I could sleep on it and not get too cold.

Xiangye was so anxious she was about to cry outside. She peeked through the crack in the door and said, "Miss, please plead with the Prince and ask him to let you out!"
"I will never bow down to that unpredictable, jerk!"
Just then, a chilling voice rang out: "Since you have such a strong will, then stay inside!"
"Your Highness, it's cold, please let Miss come out!"
One second I was still proud and arrogant, the next I chickened out and cried out through the crack in the door, "Ye Lisheng, I was wrong, please let me out!"
But he came and went like a gust of wind, and he was already far away.
Xiangye stood outside the door and said confidently, "Don't worry, Miss, I'll be guarding you outside!"
I believed it too; the snow outside had already piled up into a thick layer.
I lay on the hay, huddled up from the cold, and worried that Xiangye would catch a cold, so I called out, "Xiangye, go back and rest!"

I called out to her for ages but no one answered, so I cursed under my breath, "You brat, you went back to sleep without saying a word, and you said you'd protect me!"
A smile played on Ye Lisheng's lips as he shook his head from the shadows.
As she spoke, she resignedly curled up, sleepiness creeping in, her eyelids drooping.
Finally, unable to resist, she fell asleep. After an unknown amount of time, Ye Lisheng emerged from the shadows.
He draped the fox fur coat he was holding over me, and my body warmed up in no time.
He touched my cold face, sighed, and said: "If we don't punish you, I'm afraid they won't let it go. I'm sorry to have wronged you!"
"Fine! Who told me to end up with you!" he said, lying down next to me.
"Princess!" Lingxin exclaimed, her face full of concern as she applied the medicine to Murong Kui.
"Where is the prince?!"
"I don't know, they're probably sleeping!"
"That was truly gratifying! That imposter was punished!"
"Hmph!" Murong Kui raised a smug smile: "It's time for her to give my life back to me!"
"That's right, that imposter!"
At this moment, Lingxin changed the subject and said, "However, the prince probably doesn't want others to know about that imposter. He just told us not to tell anyone!"
"What did you say?"
She suddenly raised her voice, startling Lingxin.

The sound of a door lock roused me from my sleep.
I struggled to open my sleepy eyes and saw Ye Lisheng standing at the door.
"Looks like you're doing quite well in this woodshed!"
"Hmph!" I brushed the grass off my clothes and walked past him haughtily.
Seeing the garden covered in snow and the plum blossoms in full bloom, I was in a great mood.
He lay down on the snow, pressing his head into a large human shape.
Xiangye cried out anxiously, "Miss, get up quickly, you'll get sick!"
I was furious: "You said last night you would keep me company!"
Xiangye scratched her head sheepishly, looking quite naive: "I don't know how I fell asleep!"
A fleeting smile played on Ye Lisheng's lips.
The thought of him locking me in the woodshed last night for another woman made me angry, so I secretly picked up a snowball and threw it at him.
Sure enough, I hit him! Seeing his expression, I burst into laughter.
Lingran and Xiangye were terrified and broke out in a cold sweat, silently praying for me in their hearts.
Ye Lisheng's face darkened, and he said coldly, "Do you have a death wish?"
"What's wrong? Come and hit me!" she said, making a face at him.
Xiangye anxiously gestured for me to plead with Ye Lisheng on his behalf.
To my surprise, the next second Ye Lisheng picked up a snowball and threw it at me, which I easily dodged.
Not to be outdone, I grabbed one and threw it at him.
Snowballs flew everywhere from the round dumpling, leaving a trail of footprints behind us. Lingran and Xiangye were unfortunately hit by our snowballs too. They were watching from the sidelines, itching to join in, and I finally managed to urge them to join the fray.
