"Where do you think you're going?" A deep male voice came from above.
Looking up, Ye Lisheng's eternally unchanging icy face was staring at him with great interest.
It was terrifying to me; a wave of fear washed over me, and my legs gave way, causing me to collapse to the ground.
I grabbed his leg and said, "Where could a little girl like me run off to! I've come to scout ahead for Your Highness!"
A fleeting hint of unease crossed Ye Lisheng's face, but surprisingly, he didn't seem to mind me clinging to his leg.
Instead, he said with a wicked grin, "Take care of things for me and I'll give you your freedom!"
"It seems I'm useful to him!" With that thought, he felt more confident and spoke with more conviction: "What are your orders, Your Highness?"
"I'm sure you've already found out everything about me and Murong Kui!"
"I command you to replace Murong Kui!"
"Replace? How could that be? She and I are completely different people!"

I gave a disdainful chuckle in response to his provocation.
Seeing that I ignored him, he continued, "Sigh! Sixth Brother, you need to raise this wall higher. If even a lady from a prominent family like Sister Murong can climb over it, how are we going to keep out thieves?"
As soon as he finished speaking, he received my murderous glare. Several times, when he took Ye Lisheng's treasures out of the manor, he had to climb down from the wall.

I saw Ye Lisheng staring at me with a livid face, gritting his teeth as he said, "Murong is truly skilled!"
I instinctively took a larger step, but the rope pulled me back, and I almost tripped.

His tone was somewhat gentle, unlike his usual self.
I smiled sheepishly and said, "Thank you!"

After saying that, she even gave him a provocative look.

Ye Lisheng's eyes were icy cold, carrying a chilling intent. I couldn't help but feel a little scared; I wish I hadn't acted so impulsively.

Everyone was so frightened that they lowered their heads and didn't dare to breathe.

Xiangye pleaded for me from behind: "Your Highness, please calm down! Miss must not have done it on purpose!"
Most of the mulberries have fallen, but the leaves are still very lush. I sat in the tree and heard Xiangye and Lingxin calling me.
Ye Lisheng ordered that the kitchen staff were not allowed to bring me anything to eat.
It was late at night, and although I ate some mulberries when I was hungry, it still wasn't enough, and my stomach kept growling.
"Your Highness, everyone at Mingyu Pavilion is looking for Miss Murong!" Ling Ran told Ye Lisheng everything she had seen.
